Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Our server Jayden was top-notch. She was efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable about the Saturday special and the $5 take home meals. She is truly an asset to the restaurant. The food arrived quickly, was hot, and delicious. We were very happy with our meal and service.

Everything was great. The Louisiana “Creole” Shrimp meal that my mom had was phenomenal. Meatloaf and Fried Chicken are always favorites.

Dietary restrictions: If you have a shellfish allergy, the fried chicken is NOT deep fried in the same oil as shrimp. It is their only exception. All other fried foods (tenders, pickles, okra etc) are in the same oil as deep fried shrimp.

The food is not very good. Food is under cooked and over cooked. Quality of food is sub par. Staff are very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is mostly why I eat here.

Vegetarian options: There are only 2 options for salads and they offer a vegetable plate.

Horrible food served to me today! Hashbrown casserole not hot, pancakes burnt and smoked sausage had grease pouring out.

The Ribs, meatloaf, apples, biscuits, and choc. Coke cake all were cold when they came to us. The new ribs when replaced by mgt. weren’t seasoned as well snd weren’t as tasty the first bites of the cold ones. Our server (having her 2 stars) didn’t bring our jam and was slow and unattentive…she couldn’t make her own simple decision without her talking to her manager. Both Catsup bottles were empty. Two biscuits were only half-biscuits (bottoms torn/gone), and no ice and tiny lemon in my iced tea…huge disappointments for both of us (husband, too). And, so sad they discontinued roast beef and sweet potato, especially at Thanksgiving!

Our waitress, Jadyn, was awesome!! She was friendly, professional, and very polite. She was very attentive to our needs and made our dining experience very pleasurable! We will be back!

I use carry out quite often. I never am given the utensils and condiments I add on the website. The thing is, Cracker barrel requires the server to cross off everything to verify its in the bag. I can’t understand why the employee crosses it off when it’s not in the bag??? I checked it on my last order before I left the restaurant and of course it was missing items. The employees excuse was it wasn’t me who verified. I think managers should if they keep hiring incompetent employees.

Wheelchair accessibility: Isles are filled with displays. Only one path for wheelchairs and its the only isle big enough for people to comfortably walk through the store.

scrambled eggs were small, bacon was supposed to be crisp & was not. service was fast, trout dinner was good...tried to use $10 discount but was 26cents short of the required $30 charge

This is for the knucklehead that made the decision to stop serving sweet potatoes. If the "kit" for loaded sweet potato was to much hassle, then just serve a regular baked sweet potato with choice of regular real butter or cinnamon butter. You should find another job. This is ANOTHER reason why investors have lost faith in Cracker Barrel for the last 5 years.

😃I visited on Sunday. Christie was our waitress. She was awesome. She made the experience better. Not only was the food great, she was a very attentive waitress!
