i came in this morning excited to eat at one of my favorite breakfast spots with my boyfriend for his birthday, but unfortunately the service from our waitress, Megan (Meg), was disappointing. We were seated quickly and ordering started off fine, but things went downhill once our food arrived. i requested over-medium eggs and received them fully cooked, and my bacon was barely cooked. when i let the waitress know, she offered to fix it, which I appreciated, but the replacement meal came back with very runny eggs and burnt bacon.
i asked to speak with a manager, but was told no manager was available. she did take my meal off the bill, which i appreciated. when i we went to pay, Josh (not sure of his exact position) stepped in and handled the situation incredibly well. he listened, looked, agreed the food wasn’t acceptable, and went above and beyond by clearing the entire bill even though he didn’t have to.
josh’s professionalism and understanding definitely made the situation better. big thank you to him for taking care of us!
I do not know where to begin, a few servers are so unwelcoming, complaining about their shifts and just have a mean demeanor. Food was absolutely disgusting, I truly mean this, came out so fast but was so cold, toast tastes like stale popcorn, bisquits were ok, gravy was like frozen Bob Evans kind, hash browns couldn't even be eaten they were hard as concrete. This is an honest review, I would never return, even if I was starving and this place was the only one open. Beware

Normally, I’m quite happy with my experience at daybreak Café. However, ordered a to go breakfast today, Scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, and was told it’d be ready in 10 minutes. Got there in 10 minutes, waited another 20 as my food sat there getting cold. And no, they weren’t super busy . Then once I got out to the car, I looked, and I had scrambled eggs, sausage, and ham, and home fries. Brought it back in and the waitress, who was very snippy, said she’d fix it. Brought it back out and still had home fries. Brought it back out angain and told me everything was made fresh and was hot. Got out to my car and the eggs were not only overdone but cold as hell. They also overcharged me. Not very happy with my experience today, at all!

Stick to breakfast because your lunch items are horrific, I was cooking better at 8 years of age. You are Cutting corners, getting packaged old cubed meat and its disgusting. My lettuce tasted like it was fresh out a barn.

Food was very good and even though they were very busy the food was prepared and served very quickly. The server was very friendly and helped make some very good suggestions that were cost effective for us and still got us everything we were looking for.
