In this store I've noticed there will be certain items marked for membership discount. Then when getting up to the register it rings up for full price even after scanning membership card. Selection is terrible and meat prices are expensive. Every Other city gets a nicer kroger while ours is a dump. Don't buy the fried chicken from the deli, has no seasoning, literally beyond bland. Most of the store is prepackaged frozen foods for 16 and pregnant moms. By far the worst kroger ever...

If I could give a negative rating, I would have. 3:30 in the afternoon and ONLY ONE REGISTER was open. After waiting 10 minutes in a line of over 20 people, I left. They had no plans to open another register. I left a full cart, maybe those people STANDING AROUND can put all that away. Disgusting. I left and went to Vinkiers in whadams.

A solid Kroger that has everything that you need. Also has a gas pump that (if you use a Kroger card) will be the best deal for gas in town. Kroger is always dependable and has really good off brand stuff. I give it 3 stars to differentiate from north side store which is slightly cleaner and at least has the illusion of being bigger (I admit illusion is possible). But best grocery on the south side

Never go to the South end Port Huron Kroger. The products are fresher, and in stock at the North end.Even before the pandemic. I was told more then once by employees at both stores that the North end is given better meats and pretty much every product is better stocked fresher and it is intentional. Here is my problem with that:

There’s a violent offender that works here and her name is Amber Leonard and she will assault people if she doesn’t get her way. She nearly killed someone and sold all of my brother’s prized possessions for crack

As long as you're not following the state guidelines of keeping bottle return open an appropriate amount of time, I will not be wearing a mask in your store and if anybody ask they can F off

I watched your security guard pick his nose, wipe it on his pants then not sanitize his hands. At least two other times I saw him during my shopping experience he was touching his face or wiping his nose with a bare hand. Great prices though.

I went to your store yesterday and you are not promoting social distancing! take an example from Meijer. they have signs up near the registers with taped X's on the floor 6 ft apart to encourage social distancing. You had employees clustered talking to customers. I wont shop at your store again.

So I should start by saying I'm from Cincinnati, where Krogers is based. They are everyone's go to for fresh produce, bakery, meat and seafood. But after moving I now see why the company is struggling overall. The stores here are quite small. They do not have the Kroger Staples of Bistro, Salad Bar, a fully functional Bakery, Meat Counter or the newly added general goods. The Meat, Seafood and Produce also suffer as they clearly have a different distribution here. Produce being the worse offender here, often I throw mine out usually within 2 days or less. This store is also quite small and often overcrowded past 3pm

Worst cake experience ever. Such poor customer service. Cake not ready on time AND multiple human hairs found in the icing

I was checking out today just about 10 minutes ago, and I told the lady who was bagging groceries that I didnt need a bag, and she gave me a dirty look and said I wasnt gonna give you one anyway then kept on snarling. She was older had white hair and barely any teeth. I dont appreciate her attitude towards me, I was just trying to be environmentally friendly. Why do you have customer service employees who act this way?

This Kroger is closer to my house than the north end store, so this is the Kroger I choose. Kroger has recently promoted a campaign of "new lower prices" but I don't really see it. There are things in the store that are on sale, that are still more expensive than the Meijer's regular price as an example. Generally, they are still more expensive than their major competitors. In their credit, they sometimes have really great sales. The store is sometimes out of stock on sale items. They do give rain checks on those items so you can buy them at a later date. But the rain check has an expiration date on it, so you have to return in that time. To me, this is a time consuming hassle. In my opinion, the store is decently clean. A major drawback to this store is that at about 11:00 pm, they close all the employee operated checkouts. You have to use the self scan, and if there is several customers waiting, your wait might be longer than needed. I do like Kroger, but the out of stock issue, items that are still over priced, and the self scan causes me to only give a three star rating.
