We stayed in Early September on our way to Niagara Falls. Our room was not cleaned. Staff admitted that they had someone quit and were challenged to get things done. Simply gave us a sheet to cover the old sheets that were not cleaned. Many many calls to management regarding this terrible experience have gone unanswered. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Tried this place last summer and was disappointed. Visited today for lunch with friends and was sorry I made the decision to try again. The location is attractive and I want the place to succeed but... the experience got off to a bad start and NEVER got better. This is not a table service restaurant, you order your food at a counter and it is delivered to your table, hit and miss. Our meals were not delivered together, more than 10 minutes apart and only after I went back in twice to inquire about the delay. Food was fast food quality at restaurant prices. There was very little assistance from the staff and there were plenty of young employees standing around. Food and drinks were mediocre at best. On one of my trips inside to inquire about our food, I asked to speak to a manager and was told,"she left about 20 minutes ago." To her credit, she returned and came out to our table. She listened to what we had to say in a very condescending, disengaged manner. Giving up on this place!

As a wedding photographer, I see a lot of venues, but the new CityFlats hotel in Port Huron is one of my favorites. In addition to the beautiful building and great location, the staff is AMAZING. Jess was the day of coordinator and she was there early in the morning to get everything set for the couple. Every time I asked her about lighting, day of events, or something specific to the location she was incredibly helpful and enjoyed making my job easy! The waitstaff were very attentive during dinner and cocktail hour and the lighting is awesome with the high windows. I will definitely be recommending this venue to my clients and hope to shoot here again soon!
