Wings Etc. Reviews
I just left your establishment, walked out, after I walked into the basement to eat and your waitress literally rolled her eyes as we walked down there and she saw us, not even a hello. It was very clear she did not want us there. We felt very unwelcomed. It was 8:15 not even close to your closing time so that couldn’t have been a reason either.
Food was terrible and service was extremely slow and poor. Place was maybe half full. Ordered fish tacos and it was one fish stick cut up and split between 3 tacos, if im being generous. 5 of us were dining and the brisket nachos took an hour to arrive, well past everyone else’s food. There was zero meat. There was one scoop of meatless chili. Had to ask for straws and silverware, which was never brought so we took from a table that was empty. Wings Etc. offers a dining experience with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, opening at 11am. High chairs are available for families with young children, and the staff treats customers warmly, although a changing table would be a nice addition. The restaurant is accessible by boat and has a top patio with scenic views of the water, making it a great spot to watch boats and people pass by. Guests can enjoy the entertainment of TVs while dining.
The menu includes a variety of options such as burgers, chicken sandwiches, wings, and fried pickle chips. The wings are crispy with plenty of sauce, and the burgers have been praised for their taste. While the curly fries were overcooked and disappointing, the restaurant promptly replaced them upon request. Customers have noted the food is always good, with weekly drink specials adding to the appeal.
Staff members are friendly and provide great service, but the restaurant might be understaffed at times, resulting in slower service when busy. While food prices are on the higher end of average, they are not excessively expensive. Overall, Wings Etc. offers a decent option for a casual meal with delicious burgers and a pleasant atmosphere. It is recommended for a spring, summer, or early fall visit, but there is room for improvement in the quality of side dishes and service efficiency.
