This is the best coffee/tea/chocolate/dessert place I’ve been to in a while. There is something for everyone. I mean from lots of different flavors of teas to specialty coffee to delicious premium chocolates and pastries and a variety of unique gifts. Everything is neat and organized but still warm and inviting. We were guests from out of town, looking to stop somewhere special on our way home and this exceeded our expectations. Will definitely keep it on our list of places to visit next time we’re driving through the area, especially during the warmer months👌❤️

I write this from inside a tea shop in the new city that I live in.
Chocolatea is the best tea and chocolate shop I have been to. For the two years I lived in Pfizer, this was my favorite place to be. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, the teas were all so fun to try, the chocolates were delicious, and the atmosphere was so comfortable and cozy.
Of all the places I miss in Portage, Chocolatea is at the top. If you are at all interested in tea or chocolate, this is a must-visit. And the sister shop nearby with exotic oils and vinegars is a joy too.

Pretty good
My husband and I love this place along with its sister store Mi Boba. Their Italian cream sodas are to die for.
Cute place but very hard to get staff attention and aisles are very crowded with fragile items.
I like this place! Not many restaurants in kzoo area where you can get good coffee or tea and sit outside!

Cute shop with lovely loose leaf tea. It's a nice place to go and share a drink with a friend you want to catch up with. Friendly staff, and my husband loves their sweets.
Literally went in. Paid $5 for a cup of coffee. Tipped like $2. Then the manager brought me my coffee and told me I couldn't stay for long, even after I had all my work spread out on one her small tables and had started.
I wasn't even given a refund.
Beyond screwed up my workweek on a Monday morning.
Now I have a pile of my work sitting in my car seat, and too mentally drained to re-start.
Chocolate tea? More like Nazi poison vibe.
Too bad that ppl can't be better hosts and want to help others to be comfy and have an enjoyable time. Someday I hope all this peer to peer gives us back the community we abandoned in the aboriginal village
Vegetarian options: Everything I've seen is vegetarian except a few of the breakfast foods, still an amazing selection (given, a lot of them are desserts, so I'm mentioning this more as a dessert lover than vegetarian)
