I love how the food was pre-heated for us and sealed in five pound bags, making it super convenient to keep the sterno trays replenished throughout the evening. Barrett's staff recommended we keep the extra food in coolers to keep it warm and it worked perfectly! Will definitely use Barrett's again!”

“Every time we go the pizza is amazing (and we sometimes get the warm giant cookie also amazing). Staff is always friendly and they change games off and on to keep it interesting if you go often. The only reason for a docked star on atmosphere is because it was so hot the last time we went due to so many people there and they didn't do anything to help it.”

“Unhelpful staff. Poor quality drink After I drove 20 minutes to come back and get a remake, I was handed a lukewarm latte. Asked for a refund since they could not make a standard temperature dark mocha. Staff told me that I was making it "really hard" for them to make the drink correctly. Basically insulted and blamed me for the employee not being able to make the drink correctly', in front of other customers. Paid $7 and I left with no drink. Kindness goes a long way, but I didn't recieve that here today.”

“Always a great sub. Sometimes there's a few people in line, but it's worth the wait. Most of the staff is very friendly. I did get stiffed once on an online order where I ordered & paid for extra meat but didn't get it, so I prefer to go in and watch it made.

Parking: Decent-sized lot shared with other businesses in the strip mall.

Kid-friendliness: Tables & chairs for seating, not sure about highchair or booster seats. Very basic & somewhat small inside.

Wheelchair accessibility: The door would fit a wheelchair, but it does not have an automatic function. Parking lot does have handicapped spaces.”

My gf from Montana hadn't tried any of it before. Thanks for making the experience a great one. There was only one guy working and he did a lot of work. He even thanked me for leaving a tip. “I have been a loyal customer at Ritter's (Portage, MI) for at least 10 years and it is because of their delicious Icecream and friendly service. During my visit today, I was disappointed in how a member of the staff handled a mistake with my order. I am not sure if she was the manager or owner, but during the confusion of getting my order and charges correct, I was still unsure if I was receiving the correct change back, especially after she mistakenly gave me back the wrong amount the first time. As I was still trying to figure it out in my mind, someone must've spoken to her through the headset microphone she had on and she says loud enough for me to hear, "she's arguing about a dollar." I felt this to be quite rude to allow me to hear, especially since I was not "arguing" and after I waited patiently for them to make the corrections to the "mistakes" that they had made. Afterward, I relayed to her that I just wanted it to be right, regardless of if it were only a dollar, as I feel the dollars (and loyalty cards) I use to pay for my order are earned and mine. In all my years of being a customer, I have never been spoken about in this way. I'm hoping that it will be the last and that it was just an off day.”

For us- that means so much that your servers and entire team get it and are totally informed!! We went to Portage today but we have dined at the GR store too and same level of understanding and great service. The portions were great, and our server was absolutely AMAZING!! “Panda Dynasty has been my go-to Chinese restaurant in the area for years. Despite not offering dine-in since the pandemic began, their carry-out service has remained excellent. Staff is friendly and accommodating, ensuring a smooth pick-up process. My favorites include Fried Dumplings, Hot & Sour Soup, Volcano Tofu (off-menu; just substitute chicken with tofu), Sesame Tofu, and Beef Deluxe. Truly a local gem worth trying!”

“Extremely disappointed! Just stopped at Tiffany’s at 8:15Am on Sunday, walked in the door and restaurant was 1/2 full with no wait! As soon as we walked in manager and 2 staff immediately left to the kitchen with no acknowledgment. 5 min later hostess came to us and said there was a wait in the kitchen of 5-10 min and would not seat us! There were several open tables so why not at least seat us?”

“Love this place, we've been coming here for 20 years and it will always be our 2nd home. However, prices and portions have been ridiculous lately. There are some meals that are still a value, but then there's others like these $20 Mediterranean bowl (see pic) & Tuna bowls..embarrassingly light in both chicken and tuna and salad, respectively...I'd rather be charged $50 and get an entire Tuna steak or chicken breast for my money. I'm a loyal customer and always will be, but because of that, I've earned more than this. Do better Houslers.”

“Food is good but an overall odd experience, like a Tarantino movie. Whole place was empty, except for us and 1 other couple which they placed 2 feet away from us. Spread the customers out guys, yes the server has to walk a couple feet farther but it's better for the customer. Waited all summer and fall for this place to open, but turns out it was open the whole time and we just didn't know it because the building was overrun by weeds and branches everywhere, including the big OPEN banner so we thought someone was trying to open it but it didn't work out, turns out they were open just left it looking like a foreclosed property with a perpetually empty parking lot, lol, super weird. It's kinda cleaned up now outside, so if u drive by the mall in Portage and see this place with an empty parking lot, they ARE open now. And the whole Asian hibachi menu combined with the Cajun seafood menu was weird, but the crawfish, shrimp, and crab cakes were pretty good. Just weird being the only customers in the building and looking out the window and seeing hundreds of cars next door in the mall and movie theater parking lots, especially when u consider this is the Brann's building which was always busy but at least we got the best parking spot in the lot! But weird being the only ones there, then another couple walks in and they seat them right next to us, like 2 feet away! And then waited for 20-25 minutes to pay our bill with only 1 other table in the whole building while the dude was eating his food like 6 feet away from us and the other customer. They must REALLY be proud of that little area of the building cause we were all cuddled up there. And when we leave there are only 2 cars in the lot, 1 of which belonged to the other customers I assume, soooo, are there even employees in there or was it all just a dream? How on earth is this place paying the property taxes and insurance and overhead for this place, none of it makes sense. All I can say is food is good (all Cajun food is good) but I'm not sure if we ate at a real restaurant or just left a Tarantino movie set or maybe we imagined it all. Having said all that, I'll be back cause I would crawl through a sewer to get ahold of good Cajun crawfish, the rest of it doesn't really matter.”

Those three work so hard and are VERY nice! I will always continue to come here for my tires, especially with Kaydon and Luke working! Those guys will take care of you, your tires, and are so friendly while doing so!! Only wish I could give more than 5 stars!!!”

“Stopped by yesterday for smoothies and always enjoy the Bahama Mama. My absolute favorite! I've tried several others, and they are all good but I will stick with Bamaha Mama. Nothing beats it! I've had some of their food options in the past and they were good as well. I don't drink coffee so smoothies are my go-to drink when I want to splurge. The place is always clean and the vibe is super cute! The cashier was extremely nice. The team does a good job of ensuring the cups are full with the smoothie, not just 90%. If I had to share any negatives, it would be that the person who handed me my smoothie was less inviting, maybe just tired and I had to order in-store vs through the App because the coupon would not work, otherwise love this Tropical Smoothie location!”
