“Came here with my best friend earlier today and we really enjoyed the food! I had the fried shrimp and cajun fries and she had the fried catfish with cajun fries and shared an order of crab rangoons and hush puppies. It was the best fried shrimp and french fries that I've had in a long time from a restaurant! Everything tasted good and fresh! I'll definitely come back again and bring more people next time!“

“Still a great standby for Midwest seafood. Sat at the bar, had a good, friendly, bartender and had a chat with fellow patron. Watched a petite woman order a whole lobster out of the tank! I wish they would update this tired restaurant but doesn't keep me from going back. Love the biscuits ? as usual, and the Pick 2 (or 3) options.Parking: With their generous size overhang, you can pull-up out of the weather to drop off your date, or assist handicap passengers.Wheelchair accessibility: Good handicap access.“
“Best short ribs I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve never had a more tender piece of meat. We had the feature appetizer, kale Cesar salad, and my husband got the fish and chips and everything was incredible! Such a fun and different atmosphere with the grocery store underneath. You would never expect it to be such a classy and beautiful restaurant above but the atmosphere, food and drinks were all absolutely wonderful! We will definitely be back.“

Only issue was I ordered the steak and shrimp for 35 and they didn't have it so I had to substitute it for the jerk chicken meal for 18. “The atmosphere is great, excellent service with knowledgeable, friendly staff. Most important for me, there are gluten free options prepared in a dedicated space. As a person with a severe gluten allergy, dining out can be a challenge. Cove Lakeside Bistro made the experience delicious and a delight.“
