“The food was outstanding. My daughter and I had the fish dinner even though it was lunch time. At the time I didn't think about the meal being hot and fresh and tasty, because that's kind of what you expect when you go out. But the food was perfect, hot and fresh just like I expected it. The people who work there seem to go out of their way to help me. Maybe it's because I'm a disabled vet I don't know but everybody seems to go that extra little bit that makes the experience a pleasant one.Parking: Plenty of parking, it's right off the main Road from the highway although it is a bit away from the highway.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy level wheelchair accessibility. “Griffin is a rockstar! I needed an ice cream cake for a birthday at the last minute and he took care of me! Wrote on my cake quickly and had me out the door with instructions on how to most efficiently cut the cake! He was beyond amazing and I’ll be back to that location!“
“I have been a loyal customer at Ritter's (Portage, MI) for at least 10 years and it is because of their delicious Icecream and friendly service. During my visit today, I was disappointed in how a member of the staff handled a mistake with my order. I am not sure if she was the manager or owner, but during the confusion of getting my order and charges correct, I was still unsure if I was receiving the correct change back, especially after she mistakenly gave me back the wrong amount the first time. As I was still trying to figure it out in my mind, someone must've spoken to her through the headset microphone she had on and she says loud enough for me to hear, "she's arguing about a dollar." I felt this to be quite rude to allow me to hear, especially since I was not "arguing" and after I waited patiently for them to make the corrections to the "mistakes" that they had made. Afterward, I relayed to her that I just wanted it to be right, regardless of if it were only a dollar, as I feel the dollars (and loyalty cards) I use to pay for my order are earned and mine. In all my years of being a customer, I have never been spoken about in this way. I'm hoping that it will be the last and that it was just an off day.“
“A fairly nice place to stop for some ice cream.The staff were nice and worked at a good enough pace (not that they should be pressured to work fast in the first place). The actual interior was fairly crowed, especially during rush, which was when we stopped in. The line was somewhat confusing, we accidentally cut the line because it was kind of hard to tell the difference between the online pickup line and the ordering line.The ice cream was fairly good, especially for a chain location. It didn't feel cheap, and had a nice variety. Obviously not the BEST thing in the world, but what do you expect from a chain?I will say that the menu was kind of overwhelming to choose from. There was just too much going on. I did like how they also had the regular names for items, in case you want to say "medium" instead of "Like it!".“
“I was impressed by the variety in not only flavors offered, but also the variety of mix-ins that you could add as well. Although it can be overwhelming, there really is something for everyone here.The frozen yogurt is also very good tasting. With that said, I would say that the lemonade flavor is just a little too sweet/sour, but it's not too big of a deal.I also appreciate the option of being able to sit outside. There isn't really too much to look at outside, because YOPA is located inside of area with a large parking lot, but it's still really nice to have the option.“
