“Great place to stop for ice cream. There's usually a good crowd out, and it's a fun, sociable spot to hang out and enjoy a treat. I always look forward to stopping in.
That said, I can't really recommend the rest of the food. It's pretty cafeteria-style, like school lunch vibes. It'll work in a pinch if you're hungry, but the ice cream is definitely the reason to come.“

“Yesterday we recently visited Firehouse Subs on Westnedge Ave in Kalamazoo to celebrate our son’s birthday, his choice and it turned out to be a nice experience. He had been wanting their subs for a while, so he was especially happy we went.

We dined in and the atmosphere was standard, clean, casual, and comfortable. The food was as expected and consistent with what you’d expect from Firehouse Subs.

What really stood out was the service. The staff was friendly and attentive from the start. When we mentioned it was our son’s birthday, they acknowledged it and were very kind, which meant a lot to him. They also brought our food directly to the table, which was a nice touch.

One small moment that stood out was when I asked an employee the name of the movie playing on the television. She kindly offered to change it, even though I just wanted to know the name to watch later. It was a thoughtful gesture that showed great customer care.

“The Baconator is one of my favorite Burgers however I can't eat two patties and they don't offer the bacon cheeseburger in a single Baconator is supposed to have two kinds of cheese mine just had one slice of cheese and two pieces of bacon I have to admit though they still have the best fries and the change is in the frosties are kind of neat also“

I stopped by the Subway inside the Walmart shopping center, and I’ve got to give credit where it’s due.
There’s one guy in there holding it down, and I respect that. Real humble, respectful, and easy to deal with. That kind of energy goes a long way.
When I ordered my sub, he made it quick and efficient, but still made sure it was done right. Fresh ingredients, clean setup—certified.
What stood out to me—because I take the time to do real reviews and record videos—I noticed more than I normally would. There’s a seating area off to the side and in the back, and when I turned around, I also caught the drinking fountain on the right-hand side that I didn’t notice at first.
That’s what happens when you move with intention—you start seeing more than the average eye.
Big respect to him for the service and consistency. I also dropped a video so people can see the setup for themselves.

Very little interaction with staff, but what we did have was pleasant. This was my first time in many many years going to sonic. Will be back. Thank you.“
