“We rode our motorcycles up to the area and decided to stop here for lunch. We were seated right away and the staff was very pleasant. Our server was very quiet but did great. We ordered burgers and fries. Everything was great except the cook of the meat. Now, I like my beef a bit pink, but the cook on my burger was almost blue in the center. The cook on hubbys burger was better. He ordered his burger medium well, and it came out at medium rare. The fries were hot, crispy and heavenly. I ate mostly around the edges of the burger but it was still awesome tasting even though it was so rare. The reason for not giving 5 stars was because, when I unrolled my silverware it was used and dirty. It had bits of lettuce on the fork and clearly everything had been used. I asked the server for a new set and I was good to know.“
“I have been eating here for easily twenty five years. We stopped in for take earlier this past week. The owner still remembered me and my late father. The owner got to meet our 10.5 year old daughter that evening. I feel horrible for not stopping by more often. We live on the other side of town. The food is still on point and so is the staff. The manicotti, tortellini, pizza, sandwiches, you can't go wrong with any of it.“
“The consistency between stores - Grand Rapids and Portage- it’s the fact that our daughter’s food allergies are such a non-issue when ordering! For us- that means so much that your servers and entire team get it and are totally informed!! We went to Portage today but we have dined at the GR store too and same level of understanding and great service. The portions were great, and our server was absolutely AMAZING!! “THIS is the place for the best tasting pizza in the area! The SAUCE is excellent in flavor and amount. The crust is the perfect yeast flavor and texture. The toppings are fresh and delicious. I just wish a large 8-piece veggie pizza was priced about $14 instead of $20; Come on, there is no meat! Greek Salad is very good too!Vegetarian options: The VEGGIE is very flavorful and includes fresh tomatoes, black olives, onions, mushrooms and green pepper.Parking: Easy in and out.“
“Loved the pork nachos, and the sweet Nellie's pizza is so good.Our waitress was ok . Not overly friendly, and it would take her a bit to realize you needed another drink. The place was not busy, so I am not sure what her deal was.I will definitely go back.“
“That. Was. AWESOME!!!My sister and I are passionate about our annual trip to OG. This was our best visit yet! As we walked in, they were playing beautiful music outside in the misty rain. “Is this real life?” asked my wide-eyed sister. We were seated at our table immediately. I got started with a hot cocoa (off menu). My sister went with the green apple sangria, recommended by our kind server. Both were DE-Licious.As always, we ordered the unlimited dipping sauce trio-- we recommend this to all. I’d like to fill up my bathtub with that four-cheese marinara. Our server assuaged any anxiety by letting us know that he would be happy to bring out TWENTY bowls of sauce, if we saw fit. He just gets it. The soup, salad, and breadsticks were all up to OG’s top-notch standards. When the server got out the cheese shredder, made eye contact with me, and said “tell me when,” I didn’t feel so alone anymore. This happened again and again, and is the sort of thing that keeps me coming back for more.When my ravioli came out, I felt a glow of warm light settle over our table. Was it a bowl of ravioli or a work of fine art? I mean, DAYUM. With each cheesy forkful, I reached a level of bliss previously unknown to me. My sister got a big bowl of spaghetti with mushroom sauce and added sauteed mushrooms-- “The flavor was heavenly.” As we ate, we felt a sense of camaraderie with the other diners. “We’re all family here at Olive Garden Italian restaurant,” we repeated several times throughout the night.Our server topped off our night with a handful of about twenty Andes mints. I mean, come on. Talk about being understood. Thank you OG for being the highlight of another year for us.We left the building with warmth in our hearts, a sense of wholeness, and four to-go meals that continue to bless us with abundance. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU. This place absolutely rocks. Without a shadow of doubt, you’ll see the two of us back around this time next year.“

“The best pizza we've ever had in Michigan. The service is phenomenal, like....they remember your face and always greet you in a friendly manner, all of them. They are always fast and will go above and beyond if you need it. Like one day, they saw me struggling with my toddler and order in hand and they carried my order to the car for me so I didn't drop it and so I could safely escort my toddler to the car. Anyway, I never take pictures because the food doesn't last that long once we get it home but just amazing food and service all around. Please try them.“
