“We’ve eaten a lot of sushi and this is our preferred place in West Michigan, hands down. They have a great variety. Their sauces (dumpling, chefs, spicy, ponzu, etc) are just a cut above the rest. The dumplings are always tender. The tempura is always crispy. The fish is always fresh. The kitchen hibachi is also really good quality, and you get a ton of it. They will also customize things for allergies or intolerances, if you ask. Love it!!“
“Food was excellent and the chef was great. Only downside was the party next to us was really drunk and rowdy. So not really a fault of the restaurant except the sake squirts were continuous and a bit much considering how intoxicated two of the men were.“
“My first time ever experiencing Japanese food and sushi. I was really looking forward to this experience and had heard many wonderful things about Kumo. I had no frame of reference however for the food. While it restaurant was beautiful and exceptionally clean, our waiter was extremely put out by our questions. He behaved as if we had no business being there if we did not know about the food already. Unfortunately this really ruined what could have be a much more fun and rewarding experience for everyone. The place was essentially empty with only 2-3 other tables, so I don't feel that taking a few extra minutes to help a new inexperienced diner would have been a large inconvenience. I tried 3 different kinds of sushi, and decided I'm not a sushi person. For my main dish I had chicken tempura. Which was much like chicken strips in a very lite breading. I enjoyed it quite a bit. A sauce other than tempura would have been nice. As well as a choice of dressing for the bowl of ice berg lettuce that was my salad. Overall I doubt I will be returning. As I did not find much to eat here.“
“I was so excited to find your menu online. I am always in the neighborhood and craving sushi, however I can’t eat anything with shellfish and I don’t eat anything rawr. So that makes things limited for me, however I found they had my favorite roll the Diablo roll! I was thrilled, went and picked it up and it was beautiful, it was so delicious. The service was great! 10/10 would recommend coming here for lunch or dinner! Will be back soon!“

“This used to be the old furniture store and trackside records upstairs. I decided to try the newly remodeled place and it was so beautiful. Full of light, easy parking. The waitress was amazing and they made sure my celiac was tended too. They wiped down everything so I did not have a breakout. The food is very good and service is top notch.Dietary restrictions: Celiac was tended too very well.“
“I love the food here and though there is a wait I don't mind since the food is so good. However, they did have animal planet on the television and I had to switch my seat because I am a little too squeamish to watch that as I eat raw fish. This was a one time thing in the few times I've been there so don't let it stop you, but that wasn't my cup of tea.“
“Ten Ten's food is excellent!! The staff is fantastic and wants to make sure you're happy with everything from the time you first walk to your table, to the first time you go up to serve yourself with the beginning of your meal!! Their prompt in refilling foods when their running low to answering questions that customers may have about a dish they were looking for!! They attempt to have a wide variety of foods that can satisfy anyone's palate!! I think they have done exactly that!! When I first started going there it was busy but now it's even busier but they have plenty of room and seem to be able to handle the crowds who seem to love the place as much as I do!! I wish my camera took pictures that showed really good pictures!! Ten Ten deserves someone who has the ability to have excellent quality pictures because it deserves it!! Everything that I've eaten there is colorful and the dishes deserve to show that!! So if you haven't been there yet give it a try, I think you'll be happy you did!!Parking: Parking lotKid-friendliness: High chairs and booster seats!!Wheelchair accessibility: Wide doors and handicap parking!! They take a chair away from the table to allow for the wheelchair to be able to pull directly up to the table!! Doesn't make a person feel like you're unwanted there!! I too am handicapped with a cane and they offered assistance with getting food and carrying it back to the table!! That's very considerate which is more than appreciated!! Makes it easier for the rest of my family to get their plates and we can all sit down and eat at the same time!!“
“I can be critical of sushi and sashimi restaurants, but this place hits the spot. I recommend the Alaskan Roll. It's a solid and generous portion. For something smaller the Rainbow Roll is fresh and nicely prepared. My only suggestion I have is that some of the fried rolls are available in a non-fried variety .Courteous staff, and nice ambience. I definitely recommend this place.“
“If you've tried Panda Express you are in for a real treat because the food at Hibachi Sushi Buffet is about 100 times as good. Huge variety. The kids can stay with Mac and cheese while you dine on beef and broccoli. And it's a buffet so bring your appetite.“
“Fantastic service, very friendly and clean environment and food came quickly. Ordered the Chicken Hibachi dinner which came with a generous portion and was packed with flavors. Hawaiian roll and the Strawberry Milk tea were phenomenal as well. Would highly recommend this place to anyone stopping by Kalamazoo.“
