Food was beyond delicious I never had chicken so good in my 31 years of living they have mastered frying chicken and just chicken in general I can’t wait to go back I wish they stayed open later.

First time trying Dak Good! It was that dang good. Ordered their fried chicken wings and drumsticks, buldak, soup, and bulgogi meals! Also tried the Bulgogi fries. Food was awesome. Service was wonderful. Even the co-owner, Ken, went out of his way to stop and say hello! Atmosphere was great. I love that the inside seating area is not overwhelming with people and everything was very comforting. The restaurant was clean, even the bathrooms and they were very busy! Team members were helping each other out. It was a beautiful experience and I cannot wait to come back! Thank you Ken for sharing this place to Muskegon!

Got the bulgogi to go no red peppers with white rice side of kimchi. The bulgogi meat was good just to many onions for my taste and it was soupy which it shouldn’t. I’m giving it 4 stars though because the kimchi was awesome and the service was good.

Great little stop with quick service. Excellent crunch on their chicken. Had the lunch special strips with seasoned fries. Half and half sauce ( half soy garlic, half spicy). Phenomenal overall experience.

Offers more than just chicken. Various ramen bowls, types of fried rice, and more.

Will be coming back.

We lived in Korea for 3 years, so we are always on the lookout for good Korean, well the search is over. Easily the best fried chicken we have had, not just Korean style, not just in Michigan, just that good.

We ordered the spicy wing / drum mix and I am not sure what kind of voodoo magic was done, but it was a saucy glaze that did not make it soggy at all, it remained so crispy. We are used to getting little wings and drums, well not here. These were big boys and they were cooked to perfection, crispy, juicy, spicy, tender, just nailed it.

We also had bibimbap, it was great. The bibim sauce was not from a squeeze bottle, it was house made. The veggies were super fresh.

Our waiter Riley was super attentive and kind. The owner came over to greet us and talked for a while, the absolute nicest man.

You have earned a customer with us every time we are in town.

Finally, good KFC comes to kalamazoo. Could use a couple more sauces. Mango habanero particularly. Other than that, it's the bees knees.

Awesome place to relax and enjoy good food. Very friendly atmosphere, the ice tea is amazing and the food is fantastic. Kalamazoo has its share of fried chicken places but Dak Good stands out and offers a unique flavor and a fresh product to enjoy. The chicken was flavorful and the sides where fresh and cooked to order. Will definitely be going back and adding this to the rotation of local eats

Food was good. Another table dish was put on our bill, we asked for the food to go instead of the refund (split in two so we each could take home lunch for the next day). Thought it would be easier on everyone. The dish came out not split. I might go again when they are less busy, probably would be a better experience. New business growing pains mostly. I'd still say give them a try.

I like the chicken, but not the sauces. I asked if I could get the chicken un-sauced and they said no. They only sell their chicken with sauce, so I will not come back.

On multiple visits my family tried the corn dog, bulgogi fries, takoyaki, fried wings, buldak, and japchae. Overall the quality, taste, portioning are not worth the price and not on par with what a good korean food joint is. The food genre supposedly caters to people looking for a chill, casual, street food style experience but the impression I got from my visits are pretentious, stingy, and not flexible. Fried chicken is encased with a crispy batter that is very glassy in texture. It's more like cooked chicken encased in a fried batter. Both sauces are great but when I asked for extra sauce on the side, they said no can do. Maybe being flexible on that part and possibly letting people try your sauces will be more of a pleasant and generous experience. Pricing for the four tiny takoyaki is definitely not worth it. And the picture showing five takoyaki is kind of false advertising. Well some things to improve on but still glad there is a new asian food popping up.

Meh, unimpressed. They know their audience. That's all I will say about the food. The service was great, restaurant was clean and organized but the food lacks seasoning.

They are still figuring things out, which is understandable. The korean cheeseballs came out frozen in the middle the first time and then the second time came out way over cooked. It seems they are still tuning these in for cook time. The broth for the ramen has a lot of flavor, but I believe it is made from a bouillon. The bulgogi was good. The chicken has a really nice crunch and is cooked perfect. I do wish they had more sauces for the chicken such as a teriyaki or some sort of korean bbq sauce.

Worst Korean friend chicken of my life- scratch that, worst food in general I’ve ever had from a restaurant. The chicken is oddly soggy (tasted/felt like it was cooked in old oil) and the spicy chicken sauce was awful, pure goguchang that is so concentrated. The Korean food is also bad here but let’s talk about the ramen, (which is not even Korean.) No idea why they put this on the menu as the broth was flavorless and bland but the toppings take the cake as the worst part of the dish. Spinach? A FRIED EGG? To put a fried egg on instead of a boiled egg with no runny yolk is crazy and it looked like they just threw everything right on top in a slouchy mess. Just take it off the menu as it’s not Korean food and clearly they don’t have the time to put effort into making a nice egg. The takiyoki is insanely priced at $8 for 5 pieces…when plenty of other restaurants serve it for $5.. service was nothing exceptional and this restaurant was DEFINITELY not anything good. To simply put it just DON’T COME HERE if you authentic food or a good experience.

Japchae was on point. If you lived in S. Korea, don't expect perfection, but this was close! Bibimbap was also bomb!
