Food was good. Another table dish was put on our bill, we asked for the food to go instead of the refund (split in two so we each could take home lunch for the next day). Thought it would be easier on everyone. The dish came out not split. I might go again when they are less busy, probably would be a better experience. New business growing pains mostly. I'd still say give them a try.
On multiple visits my family tried the corn dog, bulgogi fries, takoyaki, fried wings, buldak, and japchae. Overall the quality, taste, portioning are not worth the price and not on par with what a good korean food joint is. The food genre supposedly caters to people looking for a chill, casual, street food style experience but the impression I got from my visits are pretentious, stingy, and not flexible. Fried chicken is encased with a crispy batter that is very glassy in texture....
They are still figuring things out, which is understandable. The korean cheeseballs came out frozen in the middle the first time and then the second time came out way over cooked. It seems they are still tuning these in for cook time. The broth for the ramen has a lot of flavor, but I believe it is made from a bouillon. The bulgogi was good. The chicken has a really nice crunch and is cooked perfect. I do wish they had more sauces for the chicken such as a teriyaki or some sort...
