Food was good but a little bland. Build your own omelet was a bit pricey for eggs and cheese. No western omelet available. Good bacon. Wish the omelet came with American fries. A bit busy with a large group in the center of the restaurant, but it didn't effect the time of food.

Having drove past this place a hundred times, I finally stopped in. Was pleasantly surprised with the breakfast burrito. Good taste.

Service has always been great at East Egg however I was disappointed with the quality of food that we were served there this morning. I had enjoyed the Northerner breakfast before and ordered the eggs with corned beef hash as it was excellent. Today I was presented with something that I could not and did not want to finish. Most hash is served with diced potatoes as was the case at East Egg. Today the dish was more like corn beef hash browns as frozen hash browns were substituted. The corn beef was burnt in spots and some of the potatoes were undercooked and some onion was raw. It was unpleasant and I quickly lost my appetite. My grandson, who has a great appetite of a young man, left a lot of food, including some burnt bacon, on his plate. We had expected better.

Normally I am a big fan of East Egg. Today 8/9/23 was a completely different experience. the sign directed me to "seat myself", so I did. It was fairly busy and the table that I chose had been cleared off but not wiped down. I sat and waited patiently and when the server came over said, this table isn't cleaned yet and walked away as I was saying that I was aware and it was no problem. When she returned with the spray bottle with windex and a towel. She walked right up to me and sprayed me with the windex. There was no apology and lots of attitude. I complained to management but it seem to fall on deaf ears and left the premises. I have never been treated like that by a server EVER. I'm not sure I will be back. I know good help is hard to find these days but you are in the service industry, as am I. we both know that the customers ARE our business. yours truly Brenda Ailes [email protected]
