Apparently new ownership. Breakfast menu was quite limited in my opinion. Had to ask for kids menu for 9 year old. Pretty dead in there but food was quick. Homemade sausage I would assume, was breakfast style to me. Kid didn’t really like. Overall okay. Maybe just not my basic style.

I love this place, I used to eat here more often with my grandparents and recently ate here again and I will say it lives up to my memories, I highly recommend buttermilk pancakes it what I always get here, it comes with cinnamon butter (the best kind) and syrup, personally I think that the small stack is enough for someone who doesn't eat a huge amount but you can still stomach the large stack. oh yeah you can also get bacon or sausage with it, and at least with the bacon it was cooked really well.

Great breakfasts, good burgers, and some of the friendliest staff out there. Had the short rib sandwich special today and it was awesome. I so suggest tots over fries if you’re doing lunch. Shelley was our server today.

11/12/2023 The food is great but the menu seems more limited than most. The cost after the end of a breakfast for 2 with one hot coco and waters did come out to be a total of 56.67 before tip. The coco seemed a bit watered down. Our server was sweet but clearly ran a little thin. Not budget “friendly” but you are supporting a local business owner when you dine at this establishment!! ?

Delightful Cafe offering breakfast and lunch daily. We had breakfast for lunch. I asked for my bacon to be cooked 'crispy' and it was excellent. Their pancakes were very good and the Omelet was very delicious.

This is the worst breakfast. They bring your food cold and very bad service. There are much better places for breakfast in town. Just go elsewhere

The food is always excellent and has been since this long-time Portage breakfast and lunch place came into being. Just thought it was time to return and compliment the latke benedict special that was crispy crispy crispy and delicious, and the las cruces bowl. Servers are well-trained and fantastic.

Went and had Brunch yesterday with a friend. I got the California omelette it came with a side of toast. Waitress brought out my meal but forgot my toast. After about 10 mins the waitress asked how everything was, my friend spoke up and asked about my toast. The waitress quickly grabbed it from the back and brought it to the table. I'm not about to eat cold toast that has been sitting out. And the waitress didn't even realize that my toast was missing when she asked how everything was as well as when she brought food out. Fast forward to the next day, now today I have food poisoning. Symptoms include upset stomach and diarrhea. Definitely don't recommend and I won't be going back.

I love this place! The service and food are great and they make you feel right at home. I had a delicious chicken corn tostada recently that was so good. The ambiance is bright and clean.
