Despite some mistakes made, everything was corrected with bonus! 😊

Came by yesterday for the pizza, great as usual. Tacos today, the best deal in the state!

Thanks for being wholesome

Came in late to eat dinner with our kids asked if there radio could be turned down from a volume that we had to yell at each other. Server was nice and said yes she will get it turned down. Bartender acted irritated that we asked for to be turned down. He turned it down for less than one song then turned it back up. Wont come back to this location again

I was there today for lunch with my 88 year old godmother. The wait staff was 10 plus. Bloody Marys were the same!! Not to mention the food was yummy! Thank you for the great service. We will return!!!

The black bean burger put a little too much emphasis on the ‘black’—charred isn’t a seasoning. The chips and guacamole were milder than plain toast. With a touch more seasoning and balance, this spot could turn a decent meal into a great one

I've been going to Main Street (West Main and Westnedge locations) for over thirty years now. I have a lot of great memories. Unfortunately this last visit is only a bad memory. Food wasn't as good as it used to be. The waitress was extremely friendly but several times drinks were ordered and never came out. When we said something the drinks promptly arrived, however at the end of the night we saw on the bill that we were charged twice - once for the missing drink and once for the one that arrived. Mistakes happen and I could look past this one, unfortunately that wasn't the only problem.

There is a sign on the mirror in the bathroom saying they now charge 4% for credit cards. This info is not on the menu and never was told to any of us, even when we produced credit cards to pay the bill. Most cards charge less than 3% to the business so Main Street is profiting off of this. That is just wrong. If they can't handle credit card fees then they shouldn't accept credit cards.

The biggest problem of the night, and the reason we won't be back, was the music volume. It was LOUD! There were five of us and we all complained we couldn't hear each other talking. Several times the waitress turned it down just to have the manager turn the volume back up! Main Street is not a nightclub, it wasn't that busy and had a few families eating dinner. Nobody came for blaring music. We complained to the waitress and she confirmed the manager was the problem and said they had been fighting all night about it. She turned the volume back down and shortly after my wife saw the manager berating the waitress behind the bar. He went and turned the volume back up and we told him directly it was too loud. He turned it down a tiny bit then disappeared behind the bar. No excuse for this. If I want blaring music I'll go to a club. I wanted to catch up with some old friends, have a few drinks and some food.

Years ago I worked at a different location and fell in love with their food. Working in the area I have tried several times to order take out and every time it’s messed up. Usually just a missing ranch or lettuce that was suppose to be left off.

Tonight it was horrible.
My club wasn’t toasted. It has the wrong cheese, and once again they forgot ranch.

Last time I was very impressed with both the food and the service- but after this it’s upward and on ward.

They do have good food- just dine in.
They make far too many mistakes on Togo orders.

I write this review in the hopes that it might make a difference. This has been our family’s go-to place for many years for our annual visit with local family. Unfortunately we will likely switch to another restaurant. The food was very disappointing. We went twice and I was hoping the second time would be better, but both times were disappointing. Overly greasy food, stale chips and just generally mediocre at best. Service was ok but not great. Friendly but distracted.

We came in for a quick meal and sat outside.
Grace D was our waitress and she was fantastic! Very nice and helpful.
The Tigers were on the big TVs and they set up corn hole for customers. It was a nice evening and a good vibe. Thanks Grace D

The food is very good, however specials are very repetitive. The service seems to be getting better. Im thinking new management? I would rather make the drive to this location over Mattawan. The manager at the Mattawan location doesn't give a crap. Sits at the bar and drinks all day. The portage location is doing much better.
