I couldn't find a tab for the service provided by the manager so please note that's the service specifically referenced. that being said when you have a menu as small as theirs you would think it would be easy to notate prices for pre designated food items with any upcharge if it's not considered part of the product. their menu is deceptive and they don't disclose those upcharge items visually or verbally. I wrote a review on Google as well but first had to let Google know they weren't actually closed... maybe Google already knew of their practices. I was sad the locations in Grand Rapids closed. perhaps this one in Portage actually should

When we walked in it was visibly disgusting, we had debated on leaving, but we stayed. Where the food was stored was absolutely disgusting. It looks like it hasn't been wiped down in days. The food pans looked like they have not been flipped in days. Just gross. Every counter had crumbs and dust built up. No clean tables. The floors were so sticky and disgusting. The people making the food were wearing bracelets and rings. We were the only people in there for a good 45 minutes and there were three workers who stood around and talked the whole time while they could have been cleaning. I did end up making a comment to one of the workers as we were leaving and all she said was sorry. More than likely I will not be returning.
Always good food & they have tofu for vegetarians like myself.
My biggest complaint is that their "OPEN" sign was not lit up nor was the MOE'S sign in the window & it was 7pm, when I told the employee he didn't seem to care. I almost left without going inside since it didn't appear that they were open. If the employees are turning it off or not even turning it on to not have to work & just collect a paycheck is not very smart as they will just have to look for another job sooner than later if MOE's closes due to not enough business. We already lost one of their restaurants in the area due to COVID, I would hate to loose the last one due to people thinking that the place was not open.

The food is always great. The staff was patient while my sister while she picked what she wanted since it was her first time there. We all got a burrito bowls. I got the beef, my sister the chicken and hubs the beef as well. The only down side was the floor was a little sticky. ?♀️ I would definitely go again. Thank you for having great food and a great staff. ?❤
