I stopped by Wendy’s recently, and while the food was decent—warm and somewhat fresh—the overall experience left a lot to be desired. The service was poor, with the staff appearing disengaged and uninterested in helping customers. Despite the restaurant not being particularly busy, the wait time for my order was unusually long. When I finally got my food, it felt like the staff was rushing to get rid of me rather than making an effort to ensure a good experience. There’s potential here, but they really need to focus on improving customer service and efficiency to make the visit worthwhile.

Forgetful Witch

Number 8 on their menu is clearly the Asiago Chicken Ranch Club. It comes on a bun with ranch, bacon, tomato, chicken and lettuce. Does anyone see bacon? Ranch? This is after they argued with us about what is and isn’t on the sandwich when all I asked was to have the lettuce removed. That’s it. All I wanted was the lettuce off, leave everything else on. And suddenly they’re like “oh you want ketchup, mustard?” NO!!!!!! This is the second day they messed up my order. The other day I asked for the SAME sandwich, the same “no lettuce” and they slapped a spicy chicken on it with tomato. No bacon. No cheese. It wasn’t busy so it’s not like they mixed up my order.

I don't go here much, but this place always has consistent food that is prepared as well as you could expect from a fast food burger place.

Parking: The best way to get back onto westbound Centre Ave is to cut through the gas station and turn left at the light.

The food was hot and fresh and came fast. But as a paying customer, I think it’s ridiculous that I was only able to place two orders at a time and they literally made me drive back around in the drive-through even though there was nobody else there to place my third order. I used to work for Wendy’s and that was never a thing. Why am I not able to place three orders at once? I will just go to the school craft Wendy’s next time because they wouldn’t do me like that. Thank you for the fresh food and speedy service though!

Got food poisoning on Oct 26 2024. Around 2:00pm I ordered bbq nuggets combo meal. only thing I ate that day. Started getting sick at night. Spent 3 days sick. Never going back.

My entire meal was undercooked including the cookie which was raw. The coke was flat and had no taste. I’ve never had a bad meal here, but today was my unlucky day. Kids are running the place into the ground. Where is management? The girl at the drive thru window has no customer service skills at all. Just a really bad experience overall.

I am writing to formally address a deeply troubling experience I had at your 4301 Centre Ave Portage MI Location on 10/26/2024

During my visit, I was harassed both in the drive-thru and inside the store. An employee ( who says her name is Amanda which I'm sure is not true as she did not have a name tag on) not only refused to provide my order and the missing items but also threatened to call the police when I sought assistance. Her aggressive demeanor made me fear for my safety. Instead of helping me, she stated she would report me simply for asking for help and told me never to return.

This unacceptable treatment is both shocking and distressing. I believe that all customers deserve to be treated with respect and professionalism, and my experience was a clear violation of that standard.

I am requesting a full refund for my order, as well as a thorough investigation into this incident to ensure it does not happen to others in the future.

Just picked up an order for doordash about an hour ago bags were sealed drinks for ready I verified that everything was there with the person behind the counter and deliver the order it turns out that there was an item missing because of that item being missing the customer filed a complaint against doordash and because of that complaint and trying to work it out with doordash I have lost nearly an hour worth of work and I'm being put on a hold or I can't get any work for the foreseeable future this is all because of what Wendy's did so I'm recommending nobody pick up doordash from Wendy's at this point anymore if they can't verify their food it's not a simple mistake it's a life-changing incident I have a family to feed and I don't know how I'm going to do that now

This place is run very incompetently. First time I went, the meal took nearly a half hour through the drive through. This time they took my order, and didn't confirm it or even tell me the price, just telling me to pull forward. Of course, they gave me something completely different from what I ordered. Avoid this Wendy's and go to the one on Westnedge.
