Perch soggy and full of bones. Hamburger bun was old. Fries were fried in old oil or something. They were crunchy on outside and hollow on the inside. Waitress wasn’t happy that we sent back the fish dinner. We don’t go to dinner often, quite disappointed.

My husband and I brought our kids and grandkids in for breakfast this morning! We were a group of 12 and we had excellent service and we would like to thank the person that covered the cost of our meal !

Busy during 12-1pm, waitresses looked burned out exhausted, took a while for food to arrive and get drinks refilled. Mushrooms, onion rings, fries are delicious. House salad comes in an impressive container, The Big Bird is really dang good highly recommended, clam strips hit or a miss, overall great tasting food, recommend!

By far my favorite restaurant since I was a kid. It was always nice coming in for years seeing the same staff. Even though I don't visit as often, the food is still great!
I wish our server would have checked on us, at least 1 time after receiving our food. We didn't receive any refills, that were needed.

My husband and I used to eat here all the time when we first moved to Houghton Lake. We came back here when visiting the area, and it felt like coming home. It was busy, and the food wasn't as well displayed on the plate, as it had been in the past, but it was tasty. The gal that waited on us was familiar, having been there since we lived there before. Always plenty of parking and seating. These folks care.

I took my husband there for a breakfast Saturday and it was packed shortly after we got there! I loved that there was a squirrel bird feeder in the back pressed on window so customers can watch while they eat. I did not like the news on bring screen TV with wars and violence for somewhere people go on vacation to relax but maybe they can change it to an uplifting station more for family time. I loved our waitress Krystal. Very proud of her work and the team worked together well. Only downfall I would say is the seating not easy for wheelchairs to get through and a maze to go out but totally worth it. Thank you!
