Not impressed with this place. They warned us it might take awhile to get our food. It wasn't even busy. Waitress brought us some bread that was sliced so thin that you couldn't even put butter on it. ( Are they rationing bread) I ordered the shrimp scampi there was only 5 pieces of shrimp and only a little bit of pasta. (22 bucks) and it was lukewarm. Someone else ordered the tortellini. The sauce was watery and not thick and creamy (Lukewarm also). 1/2 rack of ribs was ordered. On the menu it says it comes with a veggie and potato. The waitress said it did not, that they changed it and it doesn't come with a veggie anymore. She did end up giving it to him. I guess you have to try a place at least once. Will not be back.

The food was not great. I had the special, a beef pot pie. When it came to the table it was a bowl of ok beef stew with a puff pastry on top. My friends had a pasta dish, and salmon, tasting theirs made me realize mine was a good choice.

Johnny’s Torch Riviera is an amazing re-boot of a timeless atmosphere on the lake. It’s affordable, the vibe is lively and friendly, and service is nothing short of exemplary! 10/10 would recommend!
This was a great, quaint place to stop for supper. The atmosphere was casual and warm. The food was fresh, hot and tasty. The service was amazing! Really appreciated Mary who looked after us for dinner. Truly, a Torch Lake gem!

This was our first time there. We had a party of 12. They were short-staffed this day because four people called off. However they still managed to get us seated, the service was still outstanding, even though we had to wait about an hour for our food. The food itself that everyone had was outstanding. I would highly recommend this place and would absolutely return again.

We visited on a Wednesday evening and got seated right away. Good selection of wine and food. We had the calamari which was very good and a generous portion. My husband and I both ordered the lasagna and were not disappointed. Definitely could share between two people as we both took home half our dishes. Highly recommend.

Waitressed for warned us that our appetizers might come out at the same time as the meal... Even though we ordered our advertisers 15 to 20 minutes before food. Never got salads. Tried to charge us for extra chips with our spinach artichoke dip. It literally came with 8 chips. We said no thanks and ordered more free bread. Ran out of wine and diet coke. You are a restaurant at the busiest Summer spot, poor planning by management.Waitress was snotty when we wanted to look at the bill. What a concept.I've worked in food service industry for more than 30 years. I'd be embarrassed to call that my employer.
