“We tried a little bit of everything since it was our first time there. There is a small language barrier but the ladies were still very helpful and nice. We got the chicken tacos, beef tacos, tamales, and I don't know the name of the other item ?‍♀️? but I took pictures! Everything was really good, the tamales were very different from Mexican tamales. They weren't bad, just unexpectedly different, I don't know if we'd get those again. It was made with rice and what appeared to be an entire chicken thigh - bone and all. Would highly recommend trying tho, will be going back on a Saturday to try their bakery items ?“

“I work at Bronson Hospital. They always have your Carrot Cupcakes but I’m not a big carrot person. Monday , I found that they sell the Choc Expresso now. I’m not a fan of Coffee but really needed Chocolate. That cupcake was one of the best I’ve ever had. I think I’m now addicted. I got the Carrot cheesecake for my husband. He said - very good!!!!“

We used Berts for my daughter's wedding a month ago and we did a cake on each table instead of one big cake (we had many different food allergies.). everyone is still raving about the cakes! They were absolutely fabulous and the workmanship of Amy the owner, attention to detail and just the professionalism she showed was incredible. We were so happy with our choice. “First time customer and was very surprised that Bert's Bakery - Comstock had so many non food items. There is a big assortment of candles, puzzles, cards, figurines and more! I was expecting a bakery only so the additional items were a bonus. The woman running the business was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely return!As for the bakery, I ordered a vanilla cake slice with coconut cream. Delicious! There was a nice selection of cake slices and I think three different types of cookies to choose from. That was all I saw. Don't know if they serve drinks or anything else.“

“Small Mom and Pop shop. Best bagels ever! Today, I got the Asiago cheese right out of being made! OMG best ever. The menu sandwiches look so good. (On diet, so bagel is plenty for me) They have a big refrigerator case with lots of drink options. I do not drink coffee, so not sure how it is. I was happy to find Celsius and my fav flavor. They also have various Asian ice cream, candy, etc.

Parking: Parking is great, right now! S. Westnedge is all blocked due to construction. This makes it less traveled so parking is easy to find. They have a parking lot and side street parking & usually parking right out front.“

The have donuts plain,powdered and nuts. They have pastries and pies sometimes they are filled. They are from the delivery trucks that were out for the stocking the store shelves. The products are fresh leftover that stores didn't get stocked or pulls from from close dated from the store. You can always find surprises here at a great price.“

“We had the best experience with Layla’s Cool Pops. I ordered cake pops for my entire staff and on the day I was supposed to pick up we had a major issue at work that did not allow me to be there. She even was able to show me the difference between a yeast donut and a cake donut she was just fabulous!
