“I have been to Mexico twice and love authentic Mexican much more than typical American Mexican food. Honestly this is the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. Took my business partner, we both ordered steak street tacos. The corn shells are perfection, the hot sauce has a nice kick and a great flavor, the green sauce was very good as well. The chips were amazing, salsa very good, and all under $20. We will be back often! 5 star“

“We order from here a lot, but not after tonight. Most of the order was messed up and not cooked fully. Then, something we regularly ordered was half the size it was two days ago yet, the full price. We compared the containers because visually it was that obvious. Called and talked to the manager and got an apology, but no offer to correct the order or refund what they left out and what was not fully cooked. Would not recommend nor will be back!“

“My wife and I have eaten here several times and love it. The food and service are top quality. Lately we've found the Molcajete to be our favorite. We share it and still have enough leftovers for at least another meal for each of us. The workers are all so kind, fun, and happy. They make us feel great every time we come... After a poor experience next door at the Main St Pub, we aborted our dinner over there and came to Los Amigos where we KNEW we would be well taken care of and they lived up to it!“

“We have been here several times, I wasn't so impressed the last few times but I wait because anyone can be having a bad day. It looks like the problems with no-show wait staff were resolved and the place has gotten some TLC and looks better.The food is generally very good. I really loved the tostada, the shell was so light and flaky, not greasy or impossible to bite through; lots of yummy toppings. A chicken quesadilla was the second half of the special and it was also very delicious, fresh flavors and lots of chicken.The regular salsa that comes with chips is good but look out for the sauce you get to put on food, the red was a bit bitter and the heat lasted longer than I would have liked. It wasn't bad, just not to my taste.“

“We tried a little bit of everything since it was our first time there. There is a small language barrier but the ladies were still very helpful and nice. We got the chicken tacos, beef tacos, tamales, and I don't know the name of the other item ?‍♀️? but I took pictures! Everything was really good, the tamales were very different from Mexican tamales. They weren't bad, just unexpectedly different, I don't know if we'd get those again. It was made with rice and what appeared to be an entire chicken thigh - bone and all. Would highly recommend trying tho, will be going back on a Saturday to try their bakery items ?“

“I once knew someone who knows the real Taco Bob. I love their walking tacos. Sometimes I stop downtown in Kalamazoo and grab two because I'm greedy. I'm a simple guy with a complex perspective so I decided to go to the Taco Bob's in Portage. I wanted soft tacos instead of walking tacos... Let's just say I bit off more than I could chew because I've been addicted ever since! And now it's a FIGHT for my LIFE!! AND MY SANITY!! BECAUSE I CAN'T MAKE A DECISION WHETHER I WANT SOFT TACOS OR IF I WANT WALKING TACOS.

Parking: Don't try to park on the brick street just park next to it or next to the library or go to a parking ramp nearby. I like the roof. Find an open space somewhere not too far and take a nice walk.“

I ordered a taco salad with beef — a pretty simple choice — and they had it ready in no time. It tasted good, fresh, and satisfying overall, but nothing particularly memorable.

The portion was a bit on the small side for the price, which was the only downside. Still, with prices rising everywhere, it’s understandable — just something to keep in mind if you’re extra hungry.

“I cannot comment on other shifts... But the lunch crew is on point. I've come through 1 or 2 times a week over the last couple months and it's been consistent with service. They are great to deal with and they have never messed up my order yet. And if they did, I wouldn't have been bothered because of how great your interactions are with the crew.This place is pretty quick too. Great place to stop for lunch. I'll say this place is much better than the Taco Bell closest to my home.“

“Taco Bell’s can be hit or miss, but this specific location has always done a really good job with their food. It is always the closest to the advertised look out of all of the Taco Bell’s that are around this location. All of the food here is great, but if you have issues eating food like this, it is probably best to avoid the beans and the nacho cheese. Otherwise, this is the best location around.“
