I went in on a hot day about a month ago. It was about 95 degrees outside. I was surprised how hot it was inside the restaurant. The cashier, who was very nice, admitted it was 80 degrees inside. I felt terrible for the employees there who have to work in those conditions. In addition to my dinner, I bought a couple candy bars from the counter. I should have known better, because they were all melted! I will say that I paid over $59 for two pasties, two soups, and one drink. That's pricey!
I went back a couple weeks later and again, the inside felt like an oven. I actually felt the candy bars before I bought them again and they were completely melted.
When you keep the inside that warm, it impacts the quality of the product AND your customer's experience. What else can I conclude other than the owner is being cheap and/or trying to cut corners and keep the AC off? Those poor employees!

Authentic and very tasty pasty.

I had the veggie wrap and it was delicious. They were busy but wait time was minimal. Staff were not overly friendly.

Great job on all of my visits. But how someone could eat a chicken pasty is beyond me🥵🥵

Great pasties! The soup did not disappoint either.

Mike was very welcoming and the steak pasty was amazing. The gravy was even better! I highly suggest you give this place a try. The portion size was excellent. One pasty is more than enough but you don't want to stop at one! You have been warned!

I love this place, they make traditional up north pastys with gravy and offer many sandwhiches, hot and cold along with fudge, cake and candy. It's definitely worth a try if you've never been there or never experienced a pasty.

I like this sandwich shop and the fact that they have pastries! (Past.tees)
They do use a tad too much rutabaga for my personal taste, but will keep coming back for more!

Had to wait about 4 minutes for a worker to take order. No one else in cafe. Ordered a take and bake steak pasty. Heating instructions not in bag as told by counter worker. Called for heating instructions, was put on hold another 4 minutes or so, steak meat was tough, root veggies hard. I could have made this at home with my instant pot and a package of premade pie crust. Only saving grace was flavor of gravy. Not worth the money or time.
