Pleasant local sandwich shop, specializing in pasties. Good selection of sandwiches. Mine was good but not great. Tempting desserts and fudge. Dated interior. Counter waitstaff. I'll probably go back.
The California Reuben was delicious. The chicken cheese steak was either poorly made or is not deserving of being on the menu. Poorly seasoned and poorly cooked chicken and veggies. Bland, unappetizing looking chicken and veggies were not adequately grilled for a cheesesteak. But the Reuben was truly delicious!
I will definitely stop by again in the future for the Reuben. Nongoing to order the cheesesteak again.

Good flavor and fresh ingredients at Up North Sandwich & Pasty Co, BUT the Italian sandwich was stacked too tall to eat comfortably. I prefer when everything is chopped so you get a full bite each time. It also felt a bit basic for the price and expected more flavor. It was okay, just not my favorite and I could live my life without ever going here again.
