Great Food, and terrific service. Definitely try the Thai Cauliflower! It tastes great and is such a good portion size! We shared it as an appetizer (which it is listed under that on the menu), there were 5 of us and we didn't finish it. It would be enough for an entire meal for anybody!

We went to the commercial house today 10/17/25 in Richmond for AYCE cod and or Perch (not perch, it’s Zander) Got the Cod very disappointing, heavily breaded pieces about the size of your index finger. Actual cod inside of the heavy breading was the size of 1/4 inch by 3 inches of meat. An actual joke. Of the two orders of fish I had would equal maybe one or less of an actual piece of normal cod. Simply a scam. Never again.

Had the best perch I can remember! The waffle fries are worth the upcharge - yum!! The potato boats were a tad overdone but not horrible. Server was knowledgeable and friendly! We will be back!

First time at CH. we sat in the bar area and were served by the bartender Schoena. She was friendly and very helpful. I had the fish and chips my wife had the clam chowder and hani sandwich. Everything was very good (the baked potato was excellent). The side salad was also very nice with really good blue cheese dressing. Great prices We will definitely go back. This place far exceeded our expectations. Keep up the great work.

I’ve been following on Facebook for about a year now,my wife and I stopped in this evening and felt welcomed from the beginning. We were seated right away even though they were busy. The fish and chips were really good. The New York strip was really good as well. I think the best part of it was Nick the waiter. He has a great way of communicating with everybody in his area. He pays attention to detail and seems to make a good connection with every customer.. that alone is worth the visit. Will definitely return. Thank you all

I’m not one to really leave reviews because most places don’t impress me as much as this place did. My husband and I came here today for the first time. We were in the area and picked this place solely on a Google search. I cannot say enough good things about this place. He had the fish & chips and was very pleased with portion and the taste. I had the chicken parmesan and it was amazing! The chicken was so tender, the sauce was delicious and the portion was huge, easily 2 meals. We both had the french onion soup with our meal and this soup was probably the best french onion soup I have ever had. Also the warm bread served with our meals was so good!
I also want to mention how amazing the service was. Our waitress was top notch! She went over the menu, never left us unattended and had a great personality. I highly recommend Commercial House and look forward to coming back again.
