“This is a family restaurant, and that's exactly how you're treated. The owner frequently walks around and speaks to the customers individually. They've never messed up my order, food is always fresh and delicious, and the staff is very friendly (even when they're slammed). The parking lot is typically packed during normal meal times. My husband and I are regulars for breakfast, and even when we have all 6 kids with us they get our orders out in a timely manner. 10/10Vegetarian options: They have an entire menu dedicated to vegan/gluten free diets, as well as multiple vegetarian dish options included in the regular menu.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free”

“Went there last night (10/29/2023) for the first time and this place is great!!! Found it by accident, did not even know there was a brewery in a Richmond neighborhood but will definitely go back. Nice selection of very tasty brew. Sat at the bar and the bartender, Rebecca, was great!!! A very nice neighborhood bar/brewery that I highly recommend you all visit.”

“Ordered on a whim and the food was amazing! Large order which was 100% accurate, tacos/quesadillas/nachos/churros, etc, everything was DELICIOUS!! Definitely a hidden gem. Only gripe is the guac bites, they were good but definitely too expensive for what you get. Everything else was very reasonably priced so not worried about it lol.”

“The boneless wings are the way to go 100% sometime the size fluctuates however they are always phenomenal. I've tried almost everything on the menu and the cheese fries are a stand out. The street corn is so so and the cornbread could be better. The mini chicken sandwich was nothing special. The bone in wings were good but not as good as the boneless.”

“The owner is amazing. The other sub shop fell through the day before my wife's dad's memorial. With less than 24 hours he made us 12 feet of sub just in time. Forever grateful and will be a recurring customer.”

“This place is AMAZING! Walking into this bar is like walking into yesteryear. From the vintage cash register to the antique bar, the Cook Hotel bar is a blast from the past and a pleasant change of pace. Our bartender, Christina, was friendly, funny, and all about great service. Make no mistake: this place is not fancy. They have a basic beer selection (bottles & cans), serve their wine from boxes, and don’t offer any food. But they do have a full selection of liquor and you can order a fabulous pizza from Tivoli’s (across the street), have it delivered, and eat it in the bar. If you ever find yourself in Richmond, definitely check the Cook Hotel bar out! You’ll be glad you did!”

“I consider this one of the finest slices you will ever find or taste. With outdoor seating, a nice menu selection and that old school feel and charm it truly has it all. I grew up out here and I think you will like it too. Make sure to grab a couple slices while you wait for your large. You have been warned. Big Blue out.Parking: Parking is on the street in front, on side of building and directly across the street but with a little patience and some creativity I think you will find there is more than ample parking close or nearby for a nice walk. A nice, small, quiet town. Please be considerate and mind your manners.”

“Check out the vegan burger called the: Impossible Burger, it’s so…. good you’ll have no idea that it’s not made with meat, but veggies, it’s just the same as a regular burger but much more delicious and healthier. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it. Some people may have a different perspective on which is the better choice for vegan food but at times we’re just to busy, and don’t have time to get food that’s all natural ingredients but because it’s so close to being vegan, it’s probably the better choice, when you’re living a fast paced lifestyle in society today, good luck with that!”

“For an honest score it's 4.5 but I'm not offered tenths. The food is good, tastes authentic. I wish the menu were a little expanded but i get it, most people dont explore but im dying for a grilled pork dish, mango sticky rice or a fresh roll! If you like peanut butter, their satay is yum!They're sometimes a little tipsy with the dried Thai chili peppers so consider ordering one step down and getting dry chilies on the side (I like hot spicy but my friend doesn't).”
