“Overall I did not have the highest expectations. I was surprised by the level of care given in their service and the quality of the food. One of the best fish and chips I have had in entire metro detroit area; everything else I tried was also very good. Will be sure to come back to try more of the menu.“
“We love this place! We don't live close enough to go often but when we're craving an amazing burger, we make the drive. The fresh cut fries are absolutely amazing also! Joyce was a great bar tender, as always, we'll be back again!“
“The Friday Perch Special now,...........ABSOLUTELY SUCKS. The Lake perch dinners have always been top notch. The batter was more of a nice light coating that was delicious as were the fries. Well fool me once I guess. I ordered two perch dinners last Friday for carry out because my wife is having a procedure done early this week and didn't want to be around crowds and figured it would nice to enjoy our favorite meal from Hamlin's. I opened the carry out container to find dark brown chunkies of thick hard batter and this dry fish. We only ate two pieces and the rest is getting tossed out..The reason behind fool me once is that what always has been Lake Perch is now a fish called Zander Perch and they raised the price. It's a big fish from far away lands. Look at there specials. I wish I would have instead of relying on memory.“
“The food here is amazing! I hate going to restaurants because it seems like all the food is the same and the food comes out bland. The rage tater tots are delicious, the bacon is actual cooked then crumbles bacon, the cheese sauce it steaming hot and the tater tots are perfectly crispy, I could not get these tater tots cooked to this level of perfection at home, they are that good. The corned beef is the best I have had anywhere, Turkey bacon wrap is also delicious. You can tell the food is made with intent and pride. A restaurant like this is really hard to find and I will be a repeat customer.“
“I've been here before and it was excellent so my sister and I stopped in. My Texas Burger was one the best I've (cheese burger)ever had. It was perfect. My only complaint is that the booth upholstery seemed to need cleaning or perhaps an update but other than that it was very nice.“
“One of the best burgers and fries that I've had in a very long time and by looking at the place you would not think it but the cook definitely knows how to cook a burger and it is homemade it is not Gordon's or sysco precooked Pattie“
“For having "reuben" on the sign, I expected better. Friendly bartender with adequate service. Rye was dry, corned beef was good, sauerkraut was bland. Perfectly done tater tots and the fried mushrooms were good. Nothing special about the meal.“
“Heard good things and had to try for ourselves! All fresh, homemade food, farm to table. Hubby's steak was delicious! I had a brisket sandwich with mac and cheese (to die for). Very reasonable priced! Super cute and clean. Will definitely be back!!“
“Love this place as a Friday spot - Emma is such an awesome bartender & always comes up with something for me to drink when I can’t decide & she seems so personable with all of the other customers too.I’ve come in on other days and had some less great experiences but you can tell she can really run the place & the food is good too!!!“
“Went to T’s for the first time while visiting family in Richmond for Xmas holiday…. Holy Moly, I won $100 on the pull tabs within 5 mins of walking in. This place is lucky, lucky, lucky! I’ve never won anything before! Also great drinks, great people, and a wonderful staff! 10/10 will T’s again!(Also, T was super nice and took a photo with me after I won!)“
“Moved up this way from Dearborn(arguably the Michigan Middle Eastern cuisine capital), and I will say this place has better schwarma than many places out that way. The kids love the fried chicken tenders also from the Bird Shack portion. The owners are top notch people. Try it if you haven't.“
“This place is AMAZING! Walking into this bar is like walking into yesteryear. From the vintage cash register to the antique bar, the Cook Hotel bar is a blast from the past and a pleasant change of pace. Our bartender, Christina, was friendly, funny, and all about great service. Make no mistake: this place is not fancy. They have a basic beer selection (bottles & cans), serve their wine from boxes, and don’t offer any food. But they do have a full selection of liquor and you can order a fabulous pizza from Tivoli’s (across the street), have it delivered, and eat it in the bar. If you ever find yourself in Richmond, definitely check the Cook Hotel bar out! You’ll be glad you did!“
