“Janice, the bartender was amazing. She recommended the Figaro cheeseburger let me tell you I ordered medium rare. It came up perfectly medium rare very authentic you could tell the meat is not frozen and even their pickles are hand cut. I recommend Figaro’s for cheeseburgers all day and go see Janice best bartender I’ve ever had.“

“Our hockey team gathered at Bad Dog Corunna and KENDRA was an absolute rock star! She wrangled our gang with patience, kindness, efficiency and best of all, the best sense of humour! Her smile never wavered! Shout out to Kendra and her wing woman, Tamara .. there were 38 of us and they made sure we were well fed and appropriately “hydrated” LIz - #3’s Mom ❤️“

“A Toast from Brownstones to a True Local Staple Sideways At Brownstones, we’ve always believed that great food and atmosphere can bring a community together. That’s why we want to shine a spotlight on one of Sarnia’s true downtown gems Sideways, the brainchild of local hospitality visionary Sean Barlow. Sean has long been a pioneer in shaping Sarnia’s food and drink scene. Back in 2007, he introduced something completely new to the city Limbo Lounge, Sarnia’s first-ever martini bar. At a time when most played it safe, Sean was already thinking two steps ahead, creating experiences that elevated what nightlife and dining could be in our city. Fast forward to today, and Sideways continues that legacy a cozy, stylish bar with fantastic food, curated drinks, and a staff that makes you feel like you’ve just walked into your favourite spot (because you have). It’s the kind of place that reflects not just great taste, but a clear and consistent vision. As fellow operators in this ever-evolving local restaurant scene, we don’t just recognize Sean as a competitor we recognize him as a trailblazer. His commitment, creativity, and contributions have helped raise the bar for all of us, and we at Brownstones genuinely respect and celebrate that. Here’s to Sideways a true downtown staple, and to Sean Barlow a name that deserves to be mentioned whenever we talk about the leaders who’ve helped shape the culinary heartbeat of Sarnia. With respect, The Brownstones Team“
“If you’re looking for great tasting Jamaican food you must try Champs. I’ve tried every Jamaican restaurant in Sarnia and this place is hands down the best. It took me a long time to try it as I was sceptical but this place does not disappoint. The curry goat, stew chicken and soup is absolutely delicious 😋“

“Food was wonderful..service was not great.. there were 2 other tables in the room, and about 4 people at the bar (not busy at all). It took 10 minutes for us to get a menu. Waitress never came out from behind the bar or even looked in our direction to see if new customers had come in. She was very short in the way she spoke. Emotionless, appearing almost bothered that we were there. Never checked in after food was delivered, never offered refills. Never came back until we were finished. When we asked for the bill it took another 15 minutes. Service should not be that slow when there’s hardly anybody there. I would sympathize if it was a full house as she was the only one working.. but it was very quiet and she just seemed miserable the whole time“

“From Brownstones: A Salute to Cravin’s A True Sarnia Icon In the ever-changing world of hospitality, very few restaurants not only endure but evolve and Cravin’s has done exactly that. A cornerstone in Sarnia’s dining scene, Cravin’s has consistently demonstrated what it means to deliver excellence, whether through the inviting charm of its dining room, the creative expansion into C Lounge, or the professionalism of its Catering arm. This kind of longevity and growth doesn't happen by accident. It’s a direct reflection of the vision, leadership, and tireless work ethic of one of our city’s finest restaurateurs Helen. Her ability to adapt while staying true to the heart of her brand has earned Cravin’s a well-deserved reputation as a local favourite. At Brownstones, we respect the grind, and we admire those who continue to elevate our industry. Cravin’s may be modest in size, but it’s mighty in reputation proof that consistency, care, and community connection still matter. If you live in Sarnia, you’ve heard of Cravin’s. And if you haven’t been lately, go remind yourself what made it a local legend. With respect, from all of us at Brownstones Sports Lounge & Restaurant“
