“Had just got into town and stopped in for a bite. My wife and I having only started a special diet the day before, were looking for a vegetarian option which they only had one which we ordered along with mashed potatoes with no butter. We were pleasantly surprised with the flavor of both dishes, and actually had ourselves a good meal. There were some interesting things on the menu that if we're ever in the area again, we probably will stop in and try. Good local restaurant with good friendly service.“

“I order take out the Fish and chip . It was busy but my food was ready when I got there I only live about 6 min away. It was delicious they need to updated the prices but it also came with a side salad and 3 nice size pieces of fish . Fry's was good too.“

“I'm always skeptical when ordering coffee outside my own kitchen, but the Heath Specialty Coffee I had from here today definitely made up for every bad coffee I've ever gotten anywhere else. No seriously, I've been coming here for the delicious donuts many times over the years and can't believe I waited this long to try the coffee!!“

“Today my wife and I attended this fine establishment and we were not disappointed the food was good and the service was great. The only complaint I had was that my spaghetti and meat balls came out cold which was very disappointing upon telling the waitress she offered to get the kitchen to remake the meal or heat it up . I accepted the offering of heating the meal up as I did not want to be a nuisance but wanted a hot meal it came back out piping hot and it was delicious, the waffle fries are amazing and the chilli is good as well . Definitely a great experience and will be back.“

“The food was decent. It was decently priced and you got a dessert which was putting or ice cream with the meals that we bought. I got the country fried steak.My wife got the perch.I will say the perch was a little greasy. According to her, the french fries that she got were really good.The mashed potatoes that I got with the country fried steak were really good.The vegetables however, avoid canned vegetables and if you ordered the broccoli, it's literally just broccoli florets on your plate. No seasoning, no nothingThe waitress was nice but a little pushy. We didn't really have time to look at the menu or anything before she came over three times to see if we were ready. She also said that most people know what they want before they sit down. I'm like this is our first time here so no we don't know hahaMy wife got to clam chowder. She said it was really good and tasted homemade. She did say it was a little gritty because they used too much cornstarch to thicken it up. “Crossed the boarder to pick a package up and stopped in for lunch. Got the coney dog special with cheese. Waitress was great and was very attentive to me. The atmosphere was a bit dated and the food was decent, I felt the Chilli could have had a bit more substance. Like chunk it up a bit. However it was great for what it was and good prices“
“The food is really good here. I especially like their appetizers, particularly the mozzarella sticks. Their chicken tenders are also very good, being the perfect mix of crunchy breading and tender, juicy chicken inside. The seasoning brings it all together as some of the best chicken tenders I've ever had. Service is sometimes a bit slow. I've also picked up orders here while doing doordash delivery and it can be especially slow, but I can't necessarily fault them on that because the customers dining in should take priority of course, especially on busy nights. The atmosphere isn't anything special but also isn't bad. It's not too bright or too dim, there's a nice bar in the middle, and there are also TVs all around to watch while eating.Parking: Parking lot wraps around two sides of the building, creating not too far of a walk inside from almost every spot. Parking is plentiful and not too difficult to find even on busy nights, though be prepared to have to park farther away. It gets busy around 6-10pm, likely as most people are getting off work around this time and want to go chill afterwards.“
“Such a great bar! The food was delicious, we had the sampler as an appetizer. Everything in it was perfect. They have one of the best burgers I've ever had. Very attentive and friendly servers. Fun, small town atmosphere. The bathroom was very clean. We'll definitely go back soon!“

“GREAT as always! Pastries are a total knockout! Soup and sandwiches are waaaaay too big to to be consumed in one sitting. Ambiance is is spot on for a really nice sandwich shop. Prices are a wee bit high. However, considering that you get more than "1" meal, I guess it balances out. The place is clean and well maintained, including the rest rooms. Comfortable chairs and tables are readily available. I'd recommend the "eatery" to anyone.“

“I have loved Ted's my entire life and I love the family. The food is delicious the service is quick I always know what I'm getting but when the waitress brings you your food and her thumb is in your chili dog or fries it kind of is offsetting. Someone needs to teach the waiters and waitresses how to carry glasses and not touch the rim where you drink after they just cleaned off a table next to you. You'll never find a chili dog better than Ted's Coney Island and their french fries are the best“
“I hosted my family's Annual Holiday Party at Freighter's earlier this month. The manager (Kyle) was able to accommodate all 55 of us in the semi-private dining area. The area is spacious and allowed the family to mingle and enjoy each other's company. Everyone enjoyed the view, especially at night. The restaurant allowed us to add some decor, which added to the festive mood. For large parties, the food is served buffet-style. We were offered an array of buffet food options. They even allowed us to make some minor adjustments to the entree (changed the sauce). The service was outstanding! (Thank you, Stephanie and Chris!!) We are already making plans to book the restaurant for the 2024 Holiday Party. Thank you Freighter's!“
“Two years ago-The food is delicious and the prices are fair.Update: 2023 new owner:The young male/curly haired bartender is excellent!The mediterranean food that is new on the menu is delicious.Only drawback is the owner is extremely frugal with the sides.The garlic sauce is in a tiny plastic cup and you get ONE. If you need more you will be charged extra, which doesn’t seem right, there is not enough sauce for the amount of food and pita bread.Increased prices and paying extra for sides is not appealing, especially when this was my go to place for a good, affordable meal.“
“Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall - this is my favorite place to gather for food with family - it's casual and charming and warm and inviting - the service is always GREAT and the food is fantastic! I had the maple bacon grilled chicken with steamed broccoli and mashed potatoes, AMAZING!! Also recommend the Eggs Benny!“
