“We 10 have gone there weekly for years. Now another 10 go monthly. Why? They can accommodate 10 people easily due to their size relative to other options. And location. For the monthly group they have a semi-private (garden) room. The food is fairly priced for adequate quality. But the primary reason we keep returning is the friendly and competent wait staff. Our favorite is surely Molly. She always smiles and acts like she's glad to see us. It makes us feel good and starts our days out great We appreciate her.“

In general Swiss chalet has brought their fry get back up to snuff. There was about a 10 year stretch where all I ever got were short fries (no longer then 3cm) but they seem to be back to what they were in the 90's!

“We come to Maria’s whenever we’re headed to Lexington for a day trip. Today was no different! However, it’s our first time with our youngest. He’s newly one and definitely has a voice! As any baby, his voice cannot be tamed nor controlled because we’re in a public setting. While waiting for our breakfast, he started to get loud and antsy - probably hungry since we already drove an hour from home. A gentleman at the restaurant was simply not okay with the noises and very loudly and abruptly yelled for us to quiet him down. The entire restaurant fell silent. Everyone looking over at us but with complete sympathy, reassuring us he’s just a baby and there’s not much we can. And how appalled they are someone would ever make a comment. Still continuing to try and keep his voice down with anything on the table that I possibly can, he yelled again. & the man a second time, yelled “QUIET!!” At this point, I of course broke down. I’ve never been out in public and someone yelled at me to get my 1 year old to stop making noise. I’m also not a parent who doesn’t care and let’s their kids do whatever. We were trying all we could because we also are respectful of others dining. This is where I need to say how much I appreciate the staff and Maria herself. All the employees were coming up to me, giving me a hug. Trying to console me. Brought suckers for my boys. Maria wouldn’t even let us pay for breakfast, which we wouldn’t let but she insisted! People at other tables were coming up and talking to us and letting us know how unnecessary the comments were. To Maria, staff and all the people who showed us kindness, thank you. Thank you for understanding. Thank you for letting me know you’ve all been through it at some point. Thank you for reminding me that a baby is a baby. Your kindness will never be forgotten. “This is an inexpensive family restaurant. For what it is, the food is really good. This shrimp Alfredo was loaded with sauce and shrimp. I should have taken the picture before I ate most of the plate, but you can see how thick and plentiful the sauce is. The sauce tastes home made, all cheesy with no taste of flour. Oh! The joy of saucy cheese over pasta with shrimp!“

“Our families been coming here for year, ever since I was a kid. Some of the staff is still here from then and they are the most kindest souls ever! The food is always good, the staff is so friendly and always on the ball with our table. We've got children so they can get impatient and crazy fast but the staff is always quick with clearing, boxes etc.

“This is my second time at Anne's Diner. Both times our meals were amazingly good. I recently moved nearby, so it is convenient to be so close to Anne's Diner. Tonight my 10 year old great grandson had chicken tenders and fries and he raved about how good it was and gave it a 10/10! He wants to come back for breakfast. I enjoyed a delicious Chicken Parmesan dinner. The service was outstanding and the business was very clean. We have definitely found out new favorite diner in " Anne's Diner".“

“My Server was awesome to at Port Huron, Bob Evans. I was using a laptop and she helped me get a table near an outlet. Fast and friendly service all around. The Servers and staff are always nice. Offered refills on water, cant beat that. Food was awesome. I like the free Wi-Fi and that the restaurants have 110V Power. Good all around! BTW, loved the imitation pie at the entrance. God Bless! “We went there twice for lunch one carryout and one in dining, both times were excellent food and service. Bar tender was great and even the cook delivered our take home food to our tabel and it was cooked to perfection! I highly recommend this place.“

“Quality Continues through COVID This week has been a hard week and with numbers growing our house was looking for comfort food. That is exactly what we got. Food arrived warm via Uber eats and the portion sizes and fair. We started with the cheese curds; served with a rich gravy, both were delicious. For our main courses we had the Buffalo chicken and sweet chilli shrimp wrap. As usual both wraps were loaded chicken and shrimp and not with filler lettuce; a personal pet peeve of mine. The Buffalo chicken had great flavour and chilli shrimp was sweet with a slight zing. Our side dishes were onion rings and cactus potato’s. If you like cactus potatoes with a bite then you should try these. Just crispy enough with a burst of flavour in each bite. The only downside to our dinner were the onion rings. They were a little under cooked for my taste; I prefer mine crispy. They were saved by the dip that came with it. Rich but not overly so that it over powered the pairing. Another win for Twos!“

“The Zebra lounge has been under new ownership for a few months, and as with any new business owner, they are constantly learning. With that being said, I had a business meeting there yesterday, and thoroughly enjoyed my food and service. I was back there this evening for some drinks, and Carla went above and beyond for our group. She was absolutely amazing. Her personality was the icing on the cake. Definitely looking forward to being back!“

Service and staff were great,lots of parking, and lots of available tables.

“It was my first time coming to Crabby Joe's in over 5+ years and I was not disappointed. When you enter, the restaurant is quite modern with ample seating and entertainment both in the dining room and in the bar area. It's quite spacious in the restaurant.

My friends and I came in for half price appetizers past 9pm. We all got a Quesadilla and I also got a loaded fry. It didn't take very long for the food to come out. Hot, fresh, and delicious with 0 issues. We also had 2 beers each, and the pricing wasn't too bad on those compared to other local restaurants.

The staff were friendly, polite, and attentive. Good customer service can make or break your time.

Overall, I'd come back here again and I do recommend Crabby Joe's Sarnia to couples, groups of friends, and families. It's still a relatively priced restaurant in this time.“
