“In town on business, I saw this pub as a passer by. Parking is in the street, but plenty of space. I entered, made my way to the bar and promptly greeted by the bartender. They have a full bar, about maybe 15 beers on tap, and a full menu. I had a big lunch, so just a quick beer and sweet potato fries. (They were each fantastic!) Maybe the best $10 I’ve ever spent. This place has it going on! My overall experience was excellent!Parking: Parking is parallel on the street, but we’ll lit and plenty of space.“
“I order take out the Fish and chip . It was busy but my food was ready when I got there I only live about 6 min away. It was delicious they need to updated the prices but it also came with a side salad and 3 nice size pieces of fish . Fry's was good too.“
“This is a great lil place to get away from the chaos for a bit. Great staff, calm inviting atmosphere, good prices on drinks. I definitely recommend Skidgies if you’re looking for a place where you can just get away and actually hear what your friends are saying. We stopped in for my birthday Sunday afternoon. “A great bartender. Much bigger inside than I thought from seeing outside. A couple of pool tables. And lots of space. A great old tavern w happy hour specials. It's so good to see bars with decent prices and specials, coming from Toronto where it absolutely sucks to go to a bar, everything is so expensive in Toronto.“
“If you like karaoke you will love this bar! Whether you can carry a tune or not, get behind that mick. No judgment zone here. It's loud- not too bad though, and everyone's having fun. There are two pooltables so you can play a game in between singing your favorite karaoke tunes. Bartender Ladies have great personalities and gorgeous!Only four stars because the parking lots lighting sucks and trying to get up to the bar's door entrance from the back of the bar's parking lot your blinded from the light that's at the bar's door entrance shining in your eyes.“
“The places totally awesome! The bartender is a very sweet woman. Very good looking also. I had two draft Killian beers ice cold they were great! You do have to spend more than $10 if you would like to pay by credit card. I will definitely be back! This was Thursday March 11th around 1:00 p.m..“

“I understand we were a bigger party, but I have handled bigger parties when I worked at places like Cracker Barrel. That was the worst service I've seen. It was mostly the rudeness and the eye rolls we seen. Food was fantastic and loved the place.“
“We walked to this bar from the Hampton Inn down the road for a few drinks. The service was good. The bar tender was friendly and had a great voice. They are a Kareoke bar too. We sat on the other end of the place since we were not going to be singing, but some of the people were good“
“Two years ago-The food is delicious and the prices are fair.Update: 2023 new owner:The young male/curly haired bartender is excellent!The mediterranean food that is new on the menu is delicious.Only drawback is the owner is extremely frugal with the sides.The garlic sauce is in a tiny plastic cup and you get ONE. If you need more you will be charged extra, which doesn’t seem right, there is not enough sauce for the amount of food and pita bread.Increased prices and paying extra for sides is not appealing, especially when this was my go to place for a good, affordable meal.“
