“Occasional food specials on certain days which we have not tried yet, but what a beautiful historic gem in Marine City to enjoy a beer or cocktail surrounded by a lot of history! The new owners have done a remarkable job restoring the place and they have more they plan to do.Nice courtyard area - live regular music, and very friendly staff! Newport is just around the corner off the main drag Water Street near the beach.“
“I will start with the bad and work towards the good.1. Atmosphere - It's a typical old, falling apart bar, I'm sure it's the go to spot for a burger and beer after work.2. Service - Our server was extremely nice but anything asked for took over 10 minutes and the place was not busy at all.3. Price - This place is extremely expensive for what it is, this is more like "Tourist Trap Pricing". We had two sandwiches, two beers and 1 cheesecake and our bill was $90.00.3. Food - We had the Famous Reuben and the New York Reuben and they were fantastic, 5 star. Desert was terrible and extremely expensive, we paid $10.00 for a slice of cheesecake. They do not have a good desert menu as what they have is purchased from the grocery store down the street as we were told.4. - Because of the pricing I would not go back, drinks and desert are way too over priced for what they offer.“
“This place has come back to life! They always have outstanding entertainment, and a fun vibe. Don’t worry that they don’t serve food because there are plenty of ways to get food locally and have it delivered right to your table. Drink prices are affordable and they serve Carbliss.“
“Glad San Souci Bar is open again! Even though all new inside, it still looks like the original bar... just nicer! Large selection of nice wines and spirits too, plenty of TVs scattered around for sports.We started with nachos and after enjoying about half of them realized the new chef forgot to add the tomatoes & lettuce. The bartender offered to quickly remedy, but the chips and base was very good so included the photo! Looking forward to coming back again soon.“

We are new to the area and love the small town feel The staff is always very attentive and the owner Trish does a lot for the community such as Thanksgiving dinner offered as well as Christmas dinner. I appreciate that you can go to Snoopy's and have a meal for Thanksgiving or Christmas everyone does not have family to celebrate with and Trish and her family recognize that“

Secondly I tried their soup of the day beef barley and it was great, I wish I got a picture of my main course ?. The complimentary popcorn was mouthwatering.“
