“Vanessa D was our server. We were crunched for time as we were at a dance competition at Centennial Hall. She assured us she would do what she could but there was no guarantee because it was so busy but kept very positive. She was running off her feet but was smiling and sweet the entire time of visit. Our meal literally was out in 15 minutes.Vanessa was a delight and we definitely will be back to THIS location when in town again.Thank you for having her as a server.Renee, Erin, Jamey and Jayla (the dancer).“
“We were in Sarnia for a basketball tournament and decided to go here with a big group and they were able to accommodate us and the service and food were amazing. Can say enough about this place. Cozy and if we are ever down that way again, this will be our first stop!!!“

“It was really delicious. I would go back for more. It was clean and it's a place you can take your family and service was fast. They have the bar separated from the family side and there's a pool table if you feel like being a pool shark. Overall a very nice place. The bathrooms smell's a little funny but it was clean. The waitress was very nice and she was very fast with walking out our food. The food was hot and I can't say I was disappointed it was a great place. There was parking but it looked a bit packed. I would recommend this place to my family and friends forsure. Definitely need to go and try the food it's pretty good.Vegetarian options: Yes there's options for vegetarian peopleKid-friendliness: This place is kid friendliness 100 percent.“
“Had dinner with my wife and parents here recently and it was beyond excellent. One lady serving the entire place and she was doing an excellent job.Food was unreal and was the first time I ever had their wings which were awesome.Wish they would reconsider opening one or two days during the week for lunch.“
“*EDITED based on Owner's response* Ordered for the first time here using UberEats. Ordered the stir fried shrimp, onion and bell pepper, the chicken, egg and shrimp fried rice (no egg) and the deep fried shrimp appetizer. Food arrived promptly and was of a good temperature. Portion size was good, other than the stir fried shrimp (I think there could have been more vegetables or something, the container seemed to be a lot of sauce and barely was half full-which the owner has clarified is due to the dish being protein forward and on purpose). I loved the deep fried shrimp, they tasted similar to a Chinese fried shrimp appetizer, and the sweet chili sauce was also good- it bordered on sweet and sour which I enjoy. However, the other dishes did not impress me. As noted, the stir fried shrimp was coated in a thick sauce, almost like a black bean sauce. The owner has since clarified the ingredients which I appreciated. If you enjoy this flavour profile, and, given the amount of sauce, order some white rice on the side to add in, I think you would like this dish. As for the fried rice, it had this charbroiled almost blackened aftertaste which I could not seem to get around. Even the addition of some leftover chili sauce did not help much. The owner clarified that this dish and the noodle dishes do have a smokey taste on purpose. So if you enjoy this then I think you would like this dish as well. They have further advised that the dish can be made without a smokey taste, upon request.“
“New favourite restaurant in town! First time trying Up's N' Down after living here a long time, many regrets not coming sooner. Amazing little spot, service couldn't have been better, food and drinks were above and beyond. We are already talking about what we're trying next time. Thanks for a great dinner, and our kids loved it, too!Kid-friendliness: Perfect kid menu!“
“We have lived in Sarnia for a long time and never seemed get around to Scroggies...well this week we have been 3 times and we had terrific food, service and atmosphere...staff truly awesome..wings amazing, fish and chips delicious...please visit ...you won't be disappointed“
“Went to Maud's Variety for the first time with my partner for an Industry Night Monday featuring Chef Ange Toye and their pop-up dinner menu: Con Pepe. The food was amazing! We ordered 1 of everything... My partner gave it a 9 out of 10, and I undoubtedly agreed. The dishes were full of flavourful ingredients and components with an array of textures and tastes. The total of the food was $75, and we both had Rosemary Paloma mocktails at $7.50 a piece. $100 for a nice date night isn't so bad!The service was okay. It was busy with 2 serving staff on-site. I had asked for a water multiple times, but that request seemed to be low on the priority list since it took me a fourth attempt to receive said water. The atmosphere is very cool and ambient with a retro vibe to the place. Plenty of Mitton Street Village pictures and memorabilia, including the Harry's Family Restaurant sign in the kitchen, which was cool to see!“
