Some family diners crank out some decent food. This place doesn't, they crank out great food. Wide choices from breakfast to dinner and dessert. The coney special is great, the strawberry waffles are great, but the Greek salad is superb. Nice friendly people, working hard to make sure you leave happy and with a full belly. Lena and Tom work very hard for their good reputation and it shows!

Rainy day in Richmond as we were driving through decided to try a local restaurant. Looked like a standard older diner nothing special about the Decor. Staff was friendly and efficient. Didn't look like they were struggling with staff shortage. Looking through the menu, appeared they were trying to feed every taste from Italian, American, Greek, etc. I opted for a bowl of homemade chicken soup (rainy day option) and a Greek dinner salad. Husband chose Salisbury steak that came with salad, mash potatoes and green beans. Pleasantly surprised my soup was nicely prepared and my salad had a blend of olives, feta and other add one. The Salisbury steak was tasty and well prepared, the green beans were not to my taste or my husbands, they were over seasoned with garlic salt. Mash potatoes were fine and gravy was tasty. We were pleasantly surprised with everything except the green beans, the cook may wish to be a little lighter with the seasoning. Normally I like green beans. The restaurant was very reasonably priced for the quality and portion sizes. Why do fast food at the same price when you can receive freshly made meal at this local gem.
