Our 1st time stopping here, while passing through the area. The food was FANTASTIC. Wife had chicken pot pie, I had fish and chips. The rice pudding was for dessert.

Called just to verify all-day breakfast...woman who answered the phone gleefully told me that they were closed. They closed four hours earlier than the posted time.
No sorry, no nothing.
It would've been my first visit there...after the phone encounter i'll be sure to not ever visit. Way to go.

First off, salad was the worst ever. Chunks of torn lettuce, 1 cherry tomatoes, 1 slice
of cucumber, watered down blue cheese. I always order liver, last few times not so good. Today over cooked and I told my waitress I don't like it overcooked and dry. She ordered medium. They poured alot of auejuice over it. I don't think I'll be back. There prices went up too high!

Alex's was closing at 3:00 we showed up at 2:30 and they let us in and fed us. They were out of many items but we found meals to satisfy us. Very hospitable people

This is a nice upscale diner. The food was very good. The service was friendly and very quick. It’s a really nice atmosphere. I went there for a business breakfast. I would not hesitate to recommend it at all.
