Food was great. Service was slow...minimal staff for the amount of customers. But I went for the food and was not disappointed!

Stopped in just before close and ordered sesame chicken dinner with fried rice. That was perfect sesame chicken, and the rice and egg roll were quite good as well. Price was great as well, highly recommend this place!

Food has little to no flavor. Tastes cheap and was very soggy.

Warning: ⚠️ Serious food health problem found: I ordered takeout from this restaurant on October 2, 2025. While eating the fried sweet & sour pork, I discovered a used Band-Aid(yes band-aid) stuck to one of the fried meat pieces. It looked like it had been cooked together with the food. Also a curve fur in the soup.
I called the restaurant — they apologized over the phone and refunded the dish(only that dish), and also offered to remake it next time:)
I hope the restaurant will take this issue seriously as you already had an inspection priority notice.

This place was excellent. We drove 45 minutes looking for authentic 东北 region food, and not only was it exactly what we were looking for, it is among the best Chinese restaurants in the metro Detroit area. The service/staff was also wonderfully friendly. We enjoyed every minute there.

Great foods and nice people! Both Sichuan and northeastern style dishes are authentic.

I rarely post a bad review because I always want to support local but…we’ve tried this place twice. The food just tastes really poor quality. Almost like second day microwaved? Usually you can find a favorite but the egg roles aren’t great and the fried rice is kinda gross. I hope the owners make some changes for their own benefit. Just not worth the price.

For the $18 I felt like the spiced cumin lamb was large portion, but was very fatty - it could be part of a velveting of the lamb, so I could be complaining about an intentional taste
They forgot to put a lid on the foil bowl, so it got inside the bag - an honest mistake, when in a rush
The vegetables and spice were very well done
The staff were incredibly considerate
This is an interesting place. Seems they have the standard take out food and menu one would expect at an American Chinese restaurant but they also have another menu and serve some dishes family style. That is where this restaurant stands out. Go and try it.
Had fried rice and it was delicious. Place looked very clean and well maintained
It was one of the best Chinese food from the Northeast area I have had. It is a small cozy place owed by a lovely family. The owner/chef came to check on us multiple times and even offered free dumplings to my two kids. The staff was extra nice and friendly. I could tell that they put their heart in what they are doing. Dishes were all delicious and prices were affordable. It will be a must-have stop when we go to Troy again.
