Very good dim sum! Took the family here out of recommendation from a co-worker. Great hostess, super friendly. Small interior but packed with people. Busy environment so servers are walking around trying to drop off the right dish. They have a great selection if you don’t eat meat. Everything we got except one dish was vegetarian.
This is the best dim sum place in metro Detroit. We drive 45 minutes from Novi to eat here, even though Shangri-La is only 15 minutes away. Unfortunately, Shangri-La has gone downhill over the years — the food quality and value have dropped so much that it’s no longer an option.
Cheng’s, on the other hand, is far superior in both taste and value. It’s also accompanied by the classic Guangdong service style — where servers drop your food on the table...

We used to only go to Shangri La but they reduced the size of the portions, increased the price and their service is horrible.
Cheung is definitely the best in town, and we have done many !!!
