“We have eaten here at least three times a week for the last 30 years! The food is always consistently fresh and high quality with consistently fair portions and consistently clean!! The staff is excellent at remembering your name and they treat you like family. I can’t say that about any other restaurant. Greek Islands Birmingham, thank you for being our kitchen away from home!“

First time back post pandemic meeting an old friend and as always delicious.The portions are never small and the waitress has been there forever. “First time visiting today. I had an online order and I was able to pick it up on a table for online orders. The place was lively and seemed like a nice place to meet a friend for lunch without spending a lot. My chicken yero and small Greek salad were both delicious (and nicely packed)! I will 100% be back.“

“We had 29 seniors eat here on Saturday, May 4th. The food was delicious and served fast! Gabby was our server. She was accomodating and very cordial. I highly recommend this restaurant and will return the next time we are in the area. Thanks for great service!“

“First time diner and it was a great experience. The Huevos Rancheros was fantastic. It had so many good ingredients, but the best was fresh Chorizo. You could be in Mexican Town. Also, the homemade chicken soup is just like Mom used to make. Staff was friendly and attentive. I will be back.“

“The waitress greeted me as soon as I walked in. She said I could seat myself anywhere. She came right away with a menu and asked what I wanted to drink. She came back with water and took my. order. I ordered a farmers omelette cooked soft, and rye toast well done, very good! The presentation was as good to the eye, as it was good for the palette!! The waitress never removed my empty plate, no one likes plates not cleared when done. All the staff were friendly, and the time of day they were slow. I will stop in again when I'm in the area.“

“Me and my best friend went to celebrate and have a little galentines dinner and it was perfect. It was Super Bowl night so the restaurant was almost empty and we got to stay there a while just chatting and enjoying their delicious food. We got the famous curly fries, pasta, pizza and their also famous pink cake. We enjoyed it all! And to top it off our server was extremely nice and so sweet, we really enjoyed coming here the vibes are immaculate! Definetely coming back!“

“I’m surprised by the reviews. I had a great experience. All the reviews about the service - it’s not a sit down restaurant. Had the chicken Cesar pita. It was amazing. I’ll be back just for the pita not to shop at the mall! Chicken was marinated, very tender and juicy. Perfect amount of dressing. The Romain was fresh and crisp. French fries were almost like steak fries. Not overly greasy. Highly recommend checking this place out next time you’re shopping at the mall. Prices are typical.“

“We were a large party of 7. Our server was very patient and accommodating with our various requests. Everyone enjoyed their food. I ordered the Cod with lemon butter sauce and it was delicious! As were the sides of roasted potatoes and green beans. I would definitely go back again!“

“Have you ever seen feta cheese that shreds? Because I have never in my life seen a feta cheese that looks like this. I called to tell them they put mozzarella on the salad. They tried to tell me it’s feta it’s just bigger. Feta cheese doesn’t shred. It crumbles“
