La Collina always has great food and service. Our last visit was no different. They made a birthday dinner even more special. It is a small, intimate place, so it can get a little noisy, but it is part of the ambiance. Don't pass up trying this gem.

Delicioso! Table side Caesar was delish, pasta bolognese- fantastic! We had salmon and the eggplant stack as well. We go once a month as a girl night out and absolutely love it! Expresso martini is fab as well!

The place is hidden and if you were not looking for it, you wouldn't see it. Food was outstanding! I had the lollipop lamb chops and they were cooked to perfection. My point of comparisson for lamb chops is the restaurant Fiola in DC and La Collina's chops were better. My wife had the salmon and I tasted it. It was ok, but nothing to write home about (farm raised salmon). If I could recommend something to La Collina it would be a "no compromise" ingredient list for their awesome dishes and better gluten free menu options, like real good gluten free bread for the antipasto. You'd get a wider client pool that way, believe me.

The service was the worst ever, we had a reservation and still waited for 40 minutes until we got seated, the waiters barely paid attention to us and the food wasn’t good, little portions and overpriced. I’d never go back to this place again.

Really our worst experince at a restaurant. The service was horrible, the staff was not friendly and made us feel like they were feeding us for free. We had a reservation at 8 pm we didn't get seated until 8:45, the bread they brought wasted old. The quality of the food was not there. Not coming back here again.

Unfortunately, we had a 50 minute wait with a reservation for a table of two. Needless to say we were very disappointed. However, our service once we were seated was outstanding. And the food will bring us back. We just know we need to book extra time into our evening for an hour wait after our reservation time. No way you can go there without a reservation. I can't imagine how long the wait would be without a reservation.

Very good food and service I was celebrating a birthday which they knew When the dessert menu was presented the waiter said “ are you sure you don't want any I'll put a candle in it” A complementary dessert would have been nice We declined
Disappointing. Prior experiences were much better. Octopus appetizer was flavorful but very little octopus. Wreck fish was rubbery vs flaky. Seafood pasta did not have a lot of seafood and the seafood it did have was marginal tasting. Perhaps other items are better but I will certainly not recommend the seafood. Expensive and not good.

Don, our server, was excellent. My veal scallopini was good, but I've had veal at other restaurants that was more tender. My wife said her salmon entree smelled fishy and she didn't finish it. The Caccio e Peppe was very good.

This restaurant is an absolutely fantastic all around Italian experience. We got the table side Caesar salad and it was the best Caesar salad I’ve ever eaten. The service is excellent! I would recommend this place again and again!

Every single thing we had was delish! I had a seafood dish suggested by our waiter- loved it- salmon, mussels, clams, shrimp. My friends had an eggplant dish which was incredible, table side Caesar was amazing, andcthe lemon cake was perfection. It's one of our favorite Rochester restaurants
