HANDS DOWN BEST SUSHI IN THE AREA! I’ve been to dozens of Sushi restaurants in the area and this place has the best food and the best service. The rolls are all well presented and taste AMAZING! The staff is very attentive and super fast and friendly. This is the only sushi place I will be going to from now on!

A hidden gem of Rochester! Always superior food and staff to make you feel welcomed. Prices are reasonable and very good service.

Amazing family atmosphere. Took our 3 year old with us for dinner, was not sure how successful it would be. We were the only people in at first, so good, no issue. Then people started coming in... and they were all families with young kids!
They gave her chopsticks with a little holder and her own soup dish that was bigger than ours and easier to scoop up. I'm just amazed at how acommidating this little place is.

Went here for years for sushi and they randomly decided to start refusing to accommodate requests for cooked sushi. Really disappointing.

The best sushi ever and the service is impeccable. Have been going for over 15 years. They know their customers. It’s a local small business I love supporting due to their excellent food and hospitality.

Staff is friendly and attentive, Sushi rolls are good, the Alaskan egg drop soup was certainly not to our taste, sweeter than expected but still not bad. Spider roll and eel nigiri was good, minus a tad too much avocado for the roll. The Bulgolgi was decent, flavorful but not the greatest cut of meat. Service is really the gold star here.

Holy cow, what a hidden gem! The sushi here is honestly amazing— fresh, good portions, fantastic selection, and best of all really great prices! I know it’s crazy but if a place serves basic California rolls for more than $9, you know your wallet will be hurting at the end of the meal. No worries here! The staff was all SUPER sweet as well. Just found our new favorite restaurant and will be back many many times!

Kid-friendliness: My 8yo loves sushi, and was super excited they had calamari too! Theirs are the strips and were super fresh, and the waitress was very accommodating when I explained he doesn’t like spicy things so she served the sauce on the side.

Cute little sushi spot. Friendly staff, very attentive. Plenty of good vegetarian options. Wish we lived closer to make this a regular spot!

My go to sushi restaurant! Have never had a bad meal (or even a bad roll). The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming to everyone. We absolutely love Take Sushi. Small bonus: when we went around the holidays they gave every guest a little holiday gift to bring home with them. Such a nice little touch.
