Picky polish girl here... the best in a long time. Kapusta is not a salt lick. All the food is flavorful !! A definite must.. Number 1 spot now. Pickle soup and Vals polish combo..the best!! Dont change a thing. Service friendly and attentive. Not rushed.. and very clean and decorated well.

Great authentic polish food! The Dill Pickle soup is so good! Large serving sizes. Service with care, greeted with smiles! Pick up a carry out order for grandma today. Quick service for lunches!

Food was just OK, stuffed cabbage was mushy, pierogi dough was very thick - I guess it depends on what you're used to ? The service was great !

So disappointed the schnitzel was horrible sauerkraut, good salad, good mashed potatoes, good. I may give it another try. I would love to upgrade this, but do not order the schnitzel. The only reason for a two star review on this restaurant is the schnitzel no flavor

Our party of 3 had dinner early on Saturday night. We appreciate good Polish food and were not disappointed. The menu had a variety of choices, including American foods. The combo plate dinners all had appeal to us. I really liked the city chicken and stuffed cabbage dinner; the chicken tasted the way my Mom's did, back in the day! The Hungarian goulash was the best we've had in the States. The schnitzel meal had good proportions including real mashed potatoes. My husband declared the bread as the perfect match for the Polish dishes. We tried the biscuit cake for dessert- we liked it! We definitely want to go back to try the pie options. The service was excellent, with our waitress making several recommendations which we enjoyed.

the kraut wasn't too sour. it almost just tasted like boiled cabbage, but it was still goodI ordered a side of mashed potatoes. the portions were a good size.

I wanted to add a few Polish sides to my holiday dinner (like what my Polish grandma used to make, only I didn't have time to make everything from scratch this year.) I've been wanting to try Val's for some time, and I used to go to Two Sister's for years and that was the closest anything came to Grandma's food.I ordered a dozen stuffed cabbage and a dozen city chicken to go and picked up the next day. The staff was super kind and had plenty of gravy and sauces on the sides and helped me load it all into my car. When I got home, I was surprised and happy when I counted--then recounted--and realized they packed me a "baker's dozen" of each! How very sweet and generous. My brother, for whom I especially wanted to have the Polish dishes at my dinner, almost cried when he took his first bites. The food was very reminiscent of my grandmother's simple and delicious foods. The cabbage was tender and the city chickens were very large! I did jazz up the brown gravy a bit with some mushroom better-than-bouillon and some sauteed mushrooms, ground pepper and a bit of kosher salt.I cannot wait to go back and start digging into the other menu items. Val's definitely has a new customer and maybe I can get some tips from them about their city chicken recipe ;-)

Awesome service and great food. We started with the soup of the day, cream of mushrooms. It was a light and warm way to start Polish culinary experience. Then the pierogi cheese, sauerkraut and the best potato. The Wife said they need a pierogi with the stuffed cabbage fill and the tomatoe sauce for a dip, she us usually right. The Val's combo was just enough for both of us to eat. City chicken, cabbage roll and saurkraut. It was so good.

It pains me to give what seems to be a family owned place an honest 3 star, but this establishment really has only earned 3 stars for me.The staff is really sweet and the service was great. The pierogis are respectable. The fried chicken was very crispy. Portions are very good! However, everything else fell pretty flat for me. The mashed potatoes were bland as ever, the "vegetable" for the side was canned corn, the crepe was mediocre, the kielbasa was meh, the sauerkraut was unflavorful, rolled cabbage was fairly unremarkable. Maybe it's just me, but everything was just super low on flavor. Needs more spice.

Our family had our annual Christmas party at Val's for the first time. The staff was very accommodating and put us all together in one area. They were so friendly and welcoming and let us chat and wait for latecomers. Many thanks to the many hands who prepared our meals-EVERYTHING from the soups to the entrees and the staff that served us all were so amazing. The food was like our Babcia's. We enjoyed our family time together. Merry Christmas and Blessings to everyone at Val's for creating a wonderful memory for us cousins.

My family loves Val’s!!! When ever they come to visit me they always request to eat at Val’s. The pieorgi’s are my favorite they are so delicious. My mom and sister loved the stuffed cabbage. Every meal just tastes like it was made from scratch with love. It’s like a home cooked meal away from home.
