I was very impressed from the moment I went online to view the menu all of the way to the end of the event. This was my first experience with The Flavor Lab and once I saw all of the options I knew this was who I wanted to cater my event. Sonsia was great to work with very responsive throughout the process. The food was amazing and everything turned out perfect. The guests had nothing but good things to say about the food!! The Flavor Lab’s buffet for our daughter’s December wedding welcome party started the weekend on a delicious note! From menu planning (including dietary options) to delivery, set-up, staffing and packing up leftovers - everything was perfect. (I also like Lisa’s support of other local food entrepreneurs.)

We chose to use The Flavor Lab for our Christmas Holiday party for our company and we were blown away with the service and quality of the food. This is our second time using Flavor Lab since October. The first time we had a client event, the staff arrived on time, set up quickly and were so nice. They came back later to clean up, even provided to go containers for our guests. Everyone loved the Oktoberfest themed spread. We also used Flavor Lab this past weekend for our staff holiday party. This time we picked up our order. Everything was packed nicely to transport and labeled so people could avoid food allergies, etc. Everyone loved the food!! Lisa, Sonsia and the team are a delight to work with!

I ordered 4 pounds of turkey meat, (combo white and dark), stuffing and gravy for Thanksgiving Dinner. The stuffing and gravy were delicious, but the turkey meat was processed and horrible. I couldn’t eat it. No one wanted to eat it. So, I had to throw it away. Money wasted. The menu nor pictures were clear enough to identify that the meat was processed. For the cost of it, I thought it was real. Disappointed as I had never trusted anyone to cater for me, but due to my health, I had to. I won’t order anything else. Leilani Ware

Great food and reasonable prices! Ordered turkey and stuffing from them for Thanksgiving and it was the best stuffing I have ever had. I will definitely be using them again.

As newbies to Rochester, we catered Thanksgiving dinner last year for a small family gathering and it was absolutely fantastic!
This year we tripled our guests and decided to give them a try once again! Our friends kept raving about how amazing the “flavor” was and we definitely conquer!
We used the delivery service and the food was right on time making our Thanksgiving hassle free, allowing us to relax and enjoy our time with family and friends without slaving away in the kitchen.

I order their Thanksgiving meals every year and it’s been a lifesaver! Tastes better than I could ever cook and the portions are very generous. It allows me to host Thanksgiving stress free and ensure that the food is always on point. Highly recommend!

I came across The Flavor Lab in Rochester almost by accident, and it turned out to be one of the best food discoveries I’ve made in a long time. I was looking for something special for our gathering and decided to try their turkey and ham, and wow, did they overdeliver!

The turkey was incredibly moist with this deep, savory flavor that tasted like it had been slow-cooked with actual care, not rushed or mass-produced. The ham had that perfect balance of smokiness and sweetness, sliced beautifully and full of flavor in every bite. People couldn’t stop talking about it and we had zero leftovers, which is always the best sign.

Beyond the food itself, the whole experience felt personal. You can tell this place takes pride in what they put out. Everything was packaged well, easy to reheat and serve, and made the entire meal feel elevated without me having to stress in the kitchen.

Discovering this little gem honestly saved the day, and I’m already planning on using them again for future events and holidays. If you want food that actually impresses people, The Flavor Lab is the go-to. Strongly recommend!!!
