So I ordered my ice cream and I had a coupon and then they tell me they don’t accept it because they have no way of scanning it in…. and I said what difference does it make? I’m showing you that it’s valid and they still wouldn’t take it and then they told me at the end they do not accept coupons at all which is ridiculous. I would not recommend this place. Very poor customer service.

A good dairy queen in downtown Rochester.
We came on a Friday night after dinner in town. This place is always super busy whenever I see it open so I have never stopped before. This night was crazy busy for them.
They were doing their best but the line still moved pretty slowly. They were out of a lot of things. Including almost all the seasonal stuff and chocolate ice cream completely.
We had a few Blizzards and they were pretty good.
I would love to come back and try it again when it's less busy and they have a better stock.
Worth it.

I give them a 3* they ripped me off. Total for ice cream $11.55 I asked if they had change for $100 otherwise I’ll use the card, they said yes. I gave them $100.60 she gave me back $84. I asked for a receipt and they stated they can’t so she calculated again and asked if she gave me $86 I stated no so she gave me $2 more and wished me a great day ?♀️. So yah paid $14.60 instead of $11.55, be careful when using cash and that’s everywhere not just here .

We were in line at 8:15...at 8:30 we finally get to the front on the line only to be turned away because they were closing at 8:30 instead of the 9pm shown on line

We live in downtown Rochester and have been a regular customer of DQ for years. My dog and I ran there, got there at 8:45 pm and walked in; was told it was closed at 8:30 but it says 9:00 pm when googled.Shame on you DQ!! How can you have a heart to say no to a kid and a pup???It would have taken you less than 5 secs to put a little ice cream in a dish; really??!?This world is crazy enough as it is-Why wouldn’t you give some kindness?Daphne forgives you but next timeDO BETTER!Because we made it to Sanders and they were more than accommodating and gave Daphne a free pup cup! Way to go Sanders!!YAY!

This location has very friendly staff but employees this season (spring 2024) need much more training. Blizzards today were not mixed properly, seems like they were done in a rush.
