This is one of my favorite places in all of Rochester Hills. The Staff is super friendly and there food is great. I also pick up DD orders from here and they are the most respectful merchant in the entire city

Excellent sandwich with ridiculously wonderful service. The girl that was working 10/16 was positively adorable, so funny and kind and guaranteed my patronage in the future. Main Street Deli is an absolute winner.
Outstanding sandwiches and service. The two ladies who took my order and made my food were so nice and friendly. Super fast preparing my carry out and our food was delicious! It’s one of the heartiest corned beef sandwiches I’ve ever had. Thank you!

I am totally and completely appalled with how I was treated today. I have lived in this area since 2015 , my husband use to be a reoccurring customer to this place until now. I was taking a coworker , who came from out of state to work with me, and we were going out to lunch. I spoke highly of Main Street Deli. We walked in and did see a sign of carry out only 11:30 am , it was 12:20pm so we went inside and was not greeted the nicest, however we still planned to order . I asked to use the restroom first and was told yes, the woman was tending to a customer at the register, so instead of waiting to order I was going to use the restroom and then order. The other woman in the back cooking kept looking and repeating that it was carry out only, I said yes I understand however I would like to use the restroom first. I walked into the restroom and I hear shouting women’s bathroom is out of service. However, the door I walked into had a written sign that said unisex. The woman at the front persistent to come into the bathroom door , pull my arm and say I need to leave. I could not even gather words as it made no sense as I did not do anything. I was excited to show my coworker a new spot to eat and was treated worse than I could have imagined for no reason. I was pulled by my arm out the door and we were demanded to leave without any explanation as to why we were declined service. We were in business attire and were not rude at all. After I spoke to my husband about it he asked me to call back and get the managers name . I called back and asked for the managers name and the same woman I assume answered and asked “who is this”, I said a very concerned customer, she then immediately hung up on me. I would like to know why it is ok to treat someone like this? How is it ok to come into a bathroom door after saying yes, when we were planning on being paying customers, to then grab the customer by the arm and escort out for absolutely no reason with no explanation? Since when is it ok to put your hands on someone for no apparent reason? In my opinion, this is absolutely unacceptable and not a way to do business. It’s extremely unfortunate as my husband said their food was very good, however will not be returning nor will I be suggesting this restaurant again.
Update: Mam, the inaccuracy is in your reply. The unisex bathroom (the one without the sign saying out of order) was the one closet to the walkway which is the only door I went into. You’re correct , the cameras will show the occurrence. I will ensure to file the complaint with the authorities. Thank you for your response .

Best damn sandwich on the planet

I’ve driven by this place a lot growing up and I didn’t realize they were actually a sandwich shop! Anyways, this is my second time getting something from them and I will say the meat definitely stacks up. I ordered a Reuben the first time and went back for their Roast Beef sandwich. Both instances were carry-out and incredibly generous in terms of meat. Photo is the Roast Beef sandwich (#30) which I recommend if you’re into a hefty sandwich —I certainly am. Would rank atmosphere higher if I could sit inside to enjoy it. Will definitely be back to try more stuff from them!
