We went with another couple and we all enjoyed our meals. The portions were good sized and a great value. The service was exceptional. I would go back in a heartbeat!

My wife and I went with her cousin yesterday evening, first time we dined here. The meal was perfectly cooked, well presented and the staff were very attentive. Cocktails were fabulous and there's a great selection of wines and spirits to choose from. We will definitely be back!

Our first time in Rochester and the Bistro and it was a great experience. Osli provided great recommendations and detailed information regarding preparation of entrees. Overall the service and foods was excellent. There were four of us with different starters and different entree, and all agreed that everything was delicious. Truly a great value for the quality of the service and foods.

There were huge uncooked chunks of garlic in the chicken. The gnocchi special wasn't that good. Mediocre for the money.

Our server Esther was incredibly polite and was willing to help with any and all dietary restrictions. The Shrimp Scampi and our other dish that we can't remember were incredible and very well sized. The fries were a good size to share between 2. Overall a wonderful restaurant, would come back again.

When we arrived, we were seated right away. Shortly after our server, Ester approached and took our drink order. We had decided to order a number of small plates and share everything. My husband ordered a cup of the New England clam chowder and a Caesar salad both of which were quite good. We also ordered the sirloin tips and the perch entree both of which were very good. Overall, we thought that the sirloin tips were exceptional and the star dish of the meal. Our server, Ester was great. She continuously checked back to confirm that we were OK, but without being intrusive or annoying. In sum, it was a delightful evening out and one we look forward to repeating soon. We highly recommend the Rochester Bistro if you want to have a really great dining experience.
