Great steak and seafood. Probably the best oysters, clam chowder, and crab cakes I've ever had. Had the Delmonico steak with zip sauce and it was awesome- great marbling, super tender, and spot on for doneness.

We had reservations for 9 for my daughters 23rd birthday at 7:00pm on June 8th. I can only speak for my self about my dinner. I ordered a bowl of the French Onion Soup. The soup was luke warm and there was hardly any onion in the soup. I had Jimmy's Lake Perch and that too was luke warm. The mashed potatoes were also luke warm. The dish wasn't presented well. The Perch was scatted on the plate. Some of the Perch was on the mashed potatoes and some in the lemon sauce. r

We have eaten here many times over the years and never had a bad meal. However on 3 recent visits something has changed with the meat quality. Very poor cuts of beef often overcooked and lacking taste. We frequently order the filet and have to say they are not deserving of being called a chop house given their poor steak quality

Filet is definitely not worth the price!!! It was tasteless and dry! Have had dinner and drinks here a number of times and always been fairly descent bur $19.00 for a old fashion? Dinner and one drink apiece for two, $170.00 and definitely not worth it.

We were celebrating my mom‘s 82nd birthday party. I always look forward to taking her to the Rochester Chophouse, however, this evening was horrible. The servers couldn’t wait to remove our food. When I told them twice, I was still eating, they whisked everything away so quickly I couldn’t stop them. Additionally, the servers couldn’t wait to get to their other tables and left us mid-sentence.
The calamari was dry and rubbery. The bread over the escargot was overcooked. My Wagyu steak was cold. My husband‘s chicken was bland. It was so loud we couldn’t hear each other and the servers couldn’t hear us as well. When I sent the Wagyu back, they offered to put it in it to go carton and give us a free dessert.
All in all, it was a horrible birthday and I will not be hosting any parties there.

I hosted my daughter’s baby shower there this past Saturday. From start to finish they were very accommodating. The food was delicious and the service was great. A big thank you to “Leonna” the event coordinator that I dealt with throughout. She also served the day of the shower and was very “on top” of everything. Leonna even designed a menu that resembled the baby shower invitation and placed it at every seat to allow our guests to know what lunch courses would be served. My husband and I have celebrated various birthdays and anniversaries here but this was my first time hosting an event. I highly recommend the Rochester Chop House.

Went for anniversary dinner. Service spotty but apps and salads good. A side ordered was the au gratin potatoes. Chafing dish on white plate. Put down and received no warning that the dish was off the charts hot. When I took hold with thumb and forefinger serious burns resulted. Waiter could care less. Told him and simply got an off the cuff “sorry” as walked away Ordered dessert not comped. Took away my food uneaten as I was in pain and now two weeks later finger still sensitive. I will never go there again and will tell all. Mistakes happen but not giving a s..t is unacceptable Thanks for the 250 bill.
