We used to love this pace but food quality has dropped really far off the end. French onion soup tasted so salty it was inedible to start with. Then we got the entrees which were ice cold. Like not “been sitting in the window for too long cold” but like tossed outside in this polar vortex and forgotten about cold. We asked to get it zapped in the microwave but they said they’d remake it. It came back out and it was COLDER. The salad also tasted like beggin strip dog treats. Service was good, waiter was super nice about it. This is last time we get burned by this place.

I ordered the lobster roll with truffle fries. It was the closest thing to Main that I’ve ever had here in Michigan. It was fantastic. The tall owner checked on me several times to make sure that everything was perfect. The ambience is incredible. This is a must stop if you’re ever in Rochester.

Terrible place to make a reservation for a larger party. Done AI ASSISTANT answers the phone so you can’t speak with a human! The online reservations won’t take a party of eight or more. And the AI assistant text you on email to contact the restaurant and you never hear back. Three weeks no one answered an email. I’m not against AI assistance, but someone needs to be manning the reservation line, it actually says something about your Thanksgiving dinner when you call clearly it hasn’t been updated. Then when I show up for the reservation that I’m not sure I even have they don’t have it. I was responsible for four couples, eight of us very embarrassing. We asked to see Chris the owner. He was there and just ignored our table. On the other hand, our server, Jake was absolutely wonderful. Probably won’t be going back.

This is the place to Go. Marco with a C was the best bartender ever. The s'mores martini was the best drink I’ve had at a bar before. I never had to wait for anything and he was so polite.

You know its not going to go well when you get seated with your party and you have to ask the hostess for a server because no one came to our party after about 30 minutes. We ordered waters and that took another 25 minutes. The food is average. You get like 5-10 french fries with your order and you can find better food and service at the many restaurants on the main strip. Wont be back. You clearly are forgotten about.

Celebration for Mother’s birthday. Comfortable table setting for the five of us and stellar service from Elysia made for a relaxed and enjoyable early dinner. The menu is well rounded with something for everyone. The meal was expertly prepared reasonably priced. Thank you Corner Bar!
