We recently visited Sukho Thai Cuisine in Rochester for dinner, and it was pleasant experience from start to finish. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, with beautiful Thai touches in the interior design.
We tired a few dishes from the menu, and the flavors across the board were great. For anyone visiting, I would highly recommend the following standout items:
Crab Rangoon, Tom Yum Soup, Drunken Noodles, Massaman Curry.

If you are looking for Halal Thai food, Sukho Thai Cuisine should definitely be at your list.

We been coming here for the last 2 years. We come here usually once a month. We love that the food is all halal. We used to go to Sala Thai on 14 mile but they closed but Suko thai is even better. We usually request A, she's an awesome server. Everything comes real quick too so if you're hungry don't worry the wait isn't long. If you don't like the food all together I recommend ordering it after you get your appetizer. I highly recommend the Chicken Fried Rice, The Golden Wings, Tom Yum with Chicken and the Beef and Broccoli! The place is very clean as well as the restrooms which is very important for me. The staff is very friendly and there's ample parking!

Got the pad Thai, was expecting it to be great based on the reviews and based on the high price, but me and my Fiancé were disappointed. Compared to pad Thai's we have had at other restaurants this one was very dry and bland. Barely had any flavor.

Most of the time mild + gives me a good level of spice at other Thai food restaurants, but this one had absolutely no spice at all.

The quantity of food and the service was good, but I was hoping for more satisfaction from such an expensive meal.

I really wanted to like this place, maybe we will have to try a different item on the menu next time if we ever come back.

This was my first time trying this restaurant, and based on the reviews, I expected a decent experience. Unfortunately, while the food itself was acceptable, it was overpriced for what was served.
The service, however, was the biggest disappointment. The staff never checked on our table, didn’t ask how the food was, and didn’t offer even the most basic courtesies like a simple “welcome” or “thank you.” The waiter was noticeably standoffish, which made the dining experience uncomfortable from the start.
When it came time to pay, the situation became even more unpleasant. The server questioned why I wasn’t leaving a tip and even tried to insist that I was required to leave an 84% gratuity — an absurd claim. I clarified that tipping is optional and based on service quality, not a mandatory charge.
In the end, I left a minimal tip as a gesture of basic courtesy and decided this would be my first and last visit. The lack of hospitality and professionalism completely overshadowed the meal.

I love Thai food. GP1 Gaeng Gai, and GP6 Gaeng Mat-Sa-Man are some of the best I've tried here.

I ordered from Sukhothai through DoorDash for my daughter’s birthday dinner, and everything was perfect! The sushi arrived fresh, neatly packaged, and right on time.

We got eight veggie rolls (number 31), and they were delicious — fresh ingredients, beautiful presentation, and handled with care. Even though we ordered for delivery, the quality was just like dining in 🍣✨.

Sukhothai has become one of our go-to spots for sushi night. Fresh food, great flavor, and consistent service — can’t ask for more!

This place gives a bad name to Thai food. The service is terrible too. We also made a mistake of ordering Sushi which was the worst ever. They did not bother cut the pieces. We did not say anything and left it since we want to get out of there as soon as we can. We never go back in there ever again.

The best thai food you can find in Rochester Hills. I’ve never had a bad meal from her. The Chicken Pad Pak is my favorite in medium spice. The vegetables are fresh, chicken is tender, and they are always consistent. The crab rangoons and spring rolls great too. Today I tried the Vegetable Tom Yum soup and the broth was very flavorful with fresh veggies.

This is my favourite Thai place in the area! The curry pad thai is fantastic, as well as the sushi. Inside, the restaurant is very spacious and there are typically fresh flowers at each table. I have dined-in multiple times and have always enjoyed the atmosphere. I also appreciate the generous portion sizes! I recently got takeout here - 1 chicken curry pad thai and 1 california roll. It fed both my boyfriend and myself for roughly $25 total! Overall I absolutely recommend giving Sukho Thai a try :)
