She helped me create my son’s Birthday Cake. She listened and made sure exactly how I wanted it. My son was so happy to see his cake. 10/10 recommend getting your wedding cake from home bakery. Every step of the experience was wonderful. The tasting had amazing views of downtown Rochester. Mary, is an excellent contact - very personable and made sure everything went off without a hitch. The cake was delicious! We still get so many compliments and the delivery made it so easy, I didn't even worry about it one bit on our big day. We just got to cut and enjoy! You won't regret working with them. About to celebrate our one year anniversary and ordering a mini version of our cake to celebrate because we loved it so much.

I ended up changing the size of the cake as my guest count increased but I had already purchased a cake platter I loved and Mary along with another woman (wishing I got her name) were so kind and helped me find a solution so I could have both the bigger cake and the platter I loved. The cake turned out absolutely amazing, look wise and taste wise it was perfect. I would recommend The Home Bakery to anyone and everyone!

Beautiful decor on cakes. However, had multiple issues with the specified flavors and fillings being made incorrectly. This includes a wedding cake that was special ordered. As well as a milestone anniversary cake. Not sure what the point of having special order and options if they’re not going to be fulfilled. Asked to speak with a manager and did not receive a call back to review the order.

I sent an inspiration picture, and the final product matched it perfectly… both in design and presentation. They looked absolutely adorable and fit the theme of the party beautifully. Not only were they visually stunning, but the cupcakes also tasted amazing… fresh, flavorful, and a big hit with both the kids and adults. You can tell a lot of care and attention went into every detail. Highly recommend this home bakery for anyone looking for delicious, beautifully made treats.
